Edge SEL+ FWD residual 12,000/24 month 62% /36 month 51%
15,000/24 month 60% /36 month 49%
Edge SEL+ AWD residual 12,000/24 month 63% /36 month 52%
15,000/24 month 61% /36 month 50%
Lease interest rate is .75% for 24 month and 1% for 36 month
Hope this helps.
They should have a lower residual than the SEL.
I looked at the options sheet bteween the SE and SEL a and there's nothing I must have to move up.
My guess is the difference on the SEL FWD and AWD is about $11/month with A-plan pricing.
$369 per month for SEL AWD, (does not have sat radio or roof or nav) for 36 months, 15K per year everything included. This was by far the best price and I shopped 6 dealerships in NY and NJ. No one came close to this deal - even had 2 dealers tell me that I was making up the payment. I got the car before the new pricing on 7/9, but I have no regrets. This is a GREAT site and helped me to be able to get this car. Thanks Again!
I told him I would be flexible with the colors.
I feeling like he is jerking me around.
I'm concerned that this will drag me into August.
I know it is like looking into a crystal ball but does anyone have a prediction on what the money factor and residuals will look like in August.
Don't get me started on getting rid of them...I would love to see my property taxes go away but CT will never do it. We have some of the wealthiest communities in the country and some of the highest per capita income. Even when they started getting millions from 2 of the largest casinos in the world, our taxes went up!
I checked against my local dealers and the Ford site show many more than the dealer actually had on site.
Also, you can only search 5 or 6 dealers at a time and you have to enter new zip code. Kind of a pain...
Since my lease is up at the end of Sept, I may have to look at alternative transportation for the short term.
I used 63% residual and .75 money factor.
Please let me know what you think.

I will give you guys an update after my call.
The 179 was for etching. I told him no. 595 was acquisition, 349 was conveyance, and the 165 is motor vehicle (I cannot transfer my plates). 1131 @ signing (3 numbers above), my payment will be 463. 404 base + 26 state tax + 33 prop tax. It is more than I want to spend but actually lower than I was prepared to pay.
Does this sound reasonable to everyone else?
Now hopefully he can find me a nice Creme Brulee,AWD, BAMR, Reverse Sensing & Sirius. Unfortunately, I will probably have to do some give and take to get what I want.
The car quoted was not available but it also had the 750 tires and towing package. I do not need or want either of these. So if I am lucky enough to get one without these, the price will come down.
Wish me luck!
As for the '08, I will be out of my lease before the '08s come out. Right now there are rebates that I'm sure wont be available on the early '08s as well as the lease money rates.
The reason I know this is because 4 MONTHS AGO I leased an Edge SEL+ Vista, Chrome, reverse sensing, MSRP $32,690 for 36 months with ZERO DOWN, only first payment due at signing FOR $349 PER MONTH tax included. It is possible!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or anyone else for that matter....
My brother just bought a 2007 Chrysler from them and they didn't have what he wanted on the lot so they had to get one from Illinois. They drove 300 miles to his house to let him use one of their new Dodge Calibers as a rental car until his car could be transported to the lot (about 10 days). Then they still beat his local dealer's best price by $1200. They are amazing. I will be leasing/buying from them forever.
I'm in Northern Virginia. In Virginia, Ford state-averages the property tax and you pay an average of all the counties. If you live in a high-cost area, such as Fairfax, it can be a benefit.
Ford may do this in other states but I'm not sure.

Sticker Price: $35,455.
Sale Price: $33,991 ($500 over Invoice).
Down Payment: $7700
Rebate: $1250
36 months/10.5k miles.
Residual Rate: 53%
Residual: $18796.45.
Monthly Payment: $324.52. Includes all taxes, fee's and property tax payments.
I know that's a large down payment but folks, I've done the $450 to $500 payment thing and I was on pins and needles the entire contract. I'm just not going to do that to myself any more. It's a comfort thing
-Larry
You're right about your $7700 down payment being "large" but it is also not a very good idea. If you're car were to be totalled tomorrow, you would be out that $7700. The insurance company will not reimburse you for your down payment. Drive extremely defensively for the next 36 months. What fees or other charges did they put in the lease? Wear Care? Undercoat? Etc.
-Larry
What options and colors do you want? I'm sure we would all be happy to look/search around for you.
Rebates $ 1,250
Down Payment $ 7,700
Base payment
(pre-rent charge,taxes) $25,041 minus residual of $18796.45 equals $6244.55 divided by term (36) = $173.46 BASE PAYMENT PER MONTH.
I don't know your rent charge or sales tax or property tax but my base payment on my lease of ZERO DOWN, 36 month, 10,500 miles per year on MSRP $32,690 was $326.17 and my sales tax was $22.83 with a total payment of $349.
So with the limited info you gave I am estimating your monthly payment should be under $200. AGAIN, DEPENDING ON YOUR PROPERTY TAX. But there is no way your property tax is $120 per month.
