Does anyone know if Ford used a different Serial Number format for the 1953 F100 vehicles sold in Canada? I found one but the serial number doesn't match the plate as outlined at http://f100central.com/

    Hi all,
I just got a 1973 F100. It will not start. If I put some starting fluid in the carb it fires up and runs good, until the next day. Carb problem?
I can not find a choke on it. Is there supposed to be one.????

New battery and selenoid istalled by last owner...

Please post if you can help. thanks in advance...
