Hummer Parts Availabilty

I am thinking of buying a used 2006 or 2007 H3. It will probably have between 40,000 - 50,000 miles on it.
I have two concerns;
1. GM says it will honor the warranties but can they legally retract that commitment at a later date?
2. Parts availability concerns me. If I get in an accident 6 years from now will I be able to get a quarter panel and whatever else may be needed to make the vehicle right?
I'm very excited about getting an H3 and no other 4x4 in my price range ($20k) interests me but I must know for sure that I will be able to get parts and service for a long, long time. If I can't than not only would I have a problem getting my car fixed but who'd want to buy it if they knew they couldn't get parts.
Would like to hear all of your thoughts.

To describe a complex situation in very broad brush strokes, GM has just announced that the sale to China of the Hummer brand has fallen through, so they're now going to close it down in an orderly manner.
It very much depends on how many miles you'll put on the H3. Service items like filters, plugs, brakes etc. should be available almost indefinitely. Also, many of its mechanical and electrical components are common to other GM vehicles.
As for body panels in six years time, who knows? You may not be able to get them from a GM dealer, though it's possible, but it's also quite possible that you'll find what you want on eBay or or through any H3 specialists that may have sprung up by then.
I can't give you a hard and fast guarantee though!
2. Buying four year old vehicle and worried about six years from now.
Not a unique question.
A. Calling the Hummer H3 "...my car..." makes me think mall cruiser.
We haven't rock crawled but appreciate a strong body on frame.
B. $20,000 - maybe lease a new GM ( if you're a GM fan) SUV with awd or a ...
C. Need/Want DD or off-road beater (better choices)
D. An emotional decision for a 2006 H3.

Some are trying (and failing) to get full MSRP while others are offering significant savings.
For instance, I've seen new Monsoon radio/cd units for well under $100.
