Does anyone know the residuals and money factor for top tier credit on the g25 journey and g25x?
  • sewellgsmsewellgsm Member Posts: 775
This is for 39 months, Tier 1 credit, 15k per year.

    Base: 60% .00183
    Journey: 61% .00183
    AWD: 61% .00171

Add 2 pts if you drop to 12k per year and 3 pts if you only need 10k per year.

Thanks a lot for the reply Sewell! Trying to decide between g37 and g25, I'm still waiting for the residual numbers/MF from oct on the new 2011 g37 journey and g37x on the other forum thread. If you happen to know either of those it would be greatly appreciated. (sorry that its slightly off topic)

Here's my contribution to the forum. This weekend, I finalized a lease of a 2011 G25x with the following three options: (1) Moonroof, (2) Carpeted Trunk Mat, Trunk Net and First Aid Kit, and (3) splash guards. Here's the deal I struck for a 39 month / 15,000 miles/year lease with no cap reduction in the NY metro area:

    MSRP= $36,190
    Negotiated Sale Price= $32,987 (that's $391 under invoice)

    Lease Terms:
    39 months
    Residual= 61% ($22,075.90)
    Money Factor= .00171

Leasing fees and taxes (all paid up front):
    Security Deposit= $0
    Bank Fee= $595
    Doc Fee= $75
    NY Tax, Title and License

    Lease Payment= $374 / month

So far, I have nothing but love for the G25x. It's a beautiful car and the negotiated price was just right. I know some are concerned that the G25 has 110 less horsepower than the G37, but, honestly, the car drives beautifully. There's no shortage of pick-up when you need it. So, if you can live without a factory NAV and wood interior (both of which can be obtained after-market by the way), I highly recommend the vehicle.

I think you did pretty well man on your lease deal, considering the G25 is a brand new model so to speak so congrats! Glad your liking the car. Does it handle like the G37 does? I have driven a G37 but not the G25 yet so I'm just curious.

Your right, if you can live without a manual and the factory nav its a pretty nice bang for the buck car!

Ok so the dealer came down a bit more on sale price of car, we are about to do deal...

We have a different make car being turned in on lease first and then we have a Thanksgiving trip - so doing this now sounds like last few days of November or first few days of December. With the MF / residual being .00183/64% on a 39mo/10k-yr lease right now (November) does it make sense to see rates in December before doing this? I don't have a history of rates but was thinking this might be on high end (.00183) - are December promos typical? That would be last thing to maybe see what rate is going to be in December (I guess it could go up as well...)

Thanks for any insight on this!

Here you go aha9. Infiniti Financial Services' December buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G25X with 15,000 miles per year are .00181 and 63%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00171 and 61%.

Can you please provide the money factor and residual on G25 Journey with moonroof for 39 months @10K and 12K.

I'm getting a quote for $339/excluding tax for 39 months @10K with zero dues at signing. Is this a good deal?
  • nxtcarmannxtcarman Member Posts: 12
I think you still have room to negotiate based off the quote I got from Infiniti of Bedford. I talked to a dealer in PA whose numbers were a lot higher. I guess it depends on where you live.
  • nxtcarmannxtcarman Member Posts: 12
I've been following this forum about Airport and Bedford. I called both of them since they are the same distance from my house. I got a quote back from Bedford a lot faster and the salesman seemed like he knew what he was talking about - unlike Aiport. I don't know why it would take 4 hours for a phone quote.

I wanted the G25x with a moonroof - Airport seems like they only have one's without them and quote the same numbers.

    Here's my numbers:
    MSRP: $36,190
    Invoice: $33,858
    Selling: $30,208 (Including rebates)
    39 months 10k miles
Just $1277 out of pocket for "start ups"
    6.5% tax included
    $310.57 / month

What do you guys think? Infiniti of Bedford has the best deals I have been able to get so far.
  • nxtcarmannxtcarman Member Posts: 12
Infiniti of Bedford just upped the ante for 2011 G25x's. I ruled out the G25 - I decided I need the extra horsepower!

G35x without moonroof (I think the salesman Nick said the MSRP was $35,190)
    39 months
    $299/month
    10k year
    Just tax additional.
Nothing out of pocket - sign and drive.

This is by far the best deal anybody has posted on here for G's. Thought this might help somebody negotiate.
  • coolflea216coolflea216 Member Posts: 3
I picked up a 2011 G25X with moonroof from Airport Infiniti in Cleveland.

    39 months
    10k a year
    $335 a month after tax
I paid $300 out of pocket
    They paid first payment
    Got 1 year free maintenance
  • nxtcarmannxtcarman Member Posts: 12
The dealer seems to be pusing the g25's right now with their lease. Nick from Bedford just gave me this quote good until Monday:

    39 months
    10k
    6.5% tax
    Moonroof car
First month's payment and oil 2 oil changes
    $275/month

Unreal. Now to decide the 25 or 37?

hey everyone im just posting my quotes for any suggestions going to buy mine on Monday and want to make sure my offer is good. i was quoted really high originally at 399 month 3k down for 12k miles after pitting another dealer i got it with moonroof down to 315 month 3k down 12k miles a year for 39 months. Everything is so expensive in nj where i live additionally i am tier 0 not sure if that matters much...?

now in jersey down to 299 month 39 month with 12k and 2000 down this includes moonroof and is after tax.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
I sure can, bottomsup. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2011 G25 Journey with 12,000 miles per year are .00128 and 63%, respectively.

The residual value for a lease with only 10,000 miles per year would be 1% higher.

It would be easier for me to evaluate the deal that you were quoted if you provided us with this car's full MSRP and selling price. Let us know what those numbers are and I'm sure that either myself or another knowledgeable community member will gladly let you know what they think.

Does anyone know the new January Lease Rates for Infiniti G25x if possible can someone post 36/39 months with 10-15k please.
  • bottomsupbottomsup Member Posts: 36
    Thanks Car_man,

    MSRP - $34,225
    Sales Price - $30,341.45

Just read some of the offers from other posters and $339 sucks.

Anyone in southern california with quotes?
  • bottomsupbottomsup Member Posts: 36

Hi b00tl3g. Infiniti Financial Services' January buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G25X with 15,000 miles per year are 00146 and 64%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00149 and 63%, respectively.

The residual values for leases with only 12,000 miles per year are 2% higher. The 10k resids are 3% higher.

A couple of questions regarding my lease quote for a G25 Journey Edition.

    Summary of the quote:
39 month lease with a rate of .680.
    12,000 miles per year
    297.49 a month + 26.03 tax
    313 down (cap reduction)

    Details:
Cap Cost 30,972 (Does this include the destination charge? (Invoice is $30,312)
    Residual 63%
    Bank Fee $595
    Doc Fee $45
    Cap Reduction $414.46
    Tax on cap reduction: $36.27
Advance Payments $323.52 (1st month payment)
Security Deposit $2800 (7 terms at $400? I think I can get it up to 9 Terms)

Anyhow, the total comes out to $297.49 + $26.03 for the lease of 39 months.

Now... here are my questions (Some of which have been asked above)

    1. What is the rate of .680? Is that the interest rate?
    2. How does the $500 rebate affect the bottom line? Should I push for a cheaper capitalized cost?
    3. How much will a 36 month lease affect my rate? It's January right now and if I went for a 36 month lease vs. a 39 month lease I should be able to catch the holiday sales when my lease terminates.
    4. I'm also looking at a G37 Journey and with 0 cap reduction and a rate of .510 the lease is $341.20 with 29.86 in taxes. Essentially a $50 difference after tax.

Something that caught my attention is that on the G25 the depreciation is $262.07 and the rent is $35.42. I've seen another post where the depreciation is only $237 (I believe it might of been a 10K/year lease).

The G37 has $0 cap reduction fee (down payment) and the "rent" is only $28 instead of $35 on the G25. I'm assuming this is because of the rate difference.

Could you guys help me figure out if there's more room for negotiation on this deal? Any assistance will be appreciated.

bottomsup - I was wondering if you or anyone else who has gotten a good deal on this car was able to get such a good sale price? I have a quote for $3k below MSRP and I see that you were able to get $4k under MSRP. If I were able to get $4k under, I would definitely make the deal. Any advice?? Thanks in advance.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Hi shunx91. Here's the answers to your questions.

    1) I have no idea what the ".680" that you mentioned is. IFS' 39 month money factor for this car is .00128.

    2) The $500 dealer cash that Infiniti is currently providing on the G25 is not compatible with its special lease program.

    3) I haven't crunched the numbers, but I suspect that switching from a 39 to a 36 month lease would cause this car's payment to increase by $10 to $20 per month.

The selling price that you were quoted for the G25 is around $650 over invoice. That's pretty good. You might be able to shave another couple hundred off of this car's selling price if you really shop around, but again this is a pretty good deal.

G25X 24 month program. Just thought I would post the factors in Infiniti's January 24 month lease for anyone that may be interested. If your considering more than a thousand or so down, you might want to take a look at this program

    10k / year

    74% residual

    .00179 money factor
  • geojregeojre Member Posts: 12
Can anyone tell me when the current lease programs end? I know the dealers always have the end of the month listed on their ads, but can anyone confirm when the current programs run through?
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Hi geojre. While I believe that technically Infiniti's current programs are only scheduled to run through the end of the month, I suspect that they will remain basically the same through at least the end of February if not the end of March.

Just wanted to make sure it is a good lease.
    for G25 base model, for 39 months, 12,000 miles/year.

I have an offer (good till january 31) from south bay dealership in California:

down $750 (includs first month, registration and all taxes and fees)
    $300/month includs all taxes
  • kingsixkingsix Member Posts: 2
No its not... Here is the deal that you should aim for:

G25x with Moonroof, Splashguards and carpets: 39mths/39k miles
    MSRP: 36190
    Selling Price :33000
Security Deposits: 10 @$300 Each (MAKE SECURITY DEPOSITS YOU END UP PAYING LESS INTEREST!)
    Acq: 595.
    Down payment: 1100

Monthly payment: 248 before tax. So the only amount you "lose" is the payment of $1100 and 248x 39. you get your $3000 back at the end.

Have the dealer waive the disposition fee of $395 get it in writing.
  • badger985badger985 Member Posts: 1
Here are the terms (Please let me know if anyone has any thoughts on if it can be better) - This is in Northern NJ (Right outside NYC)

    24 Month Lease - $482/Mo

    18k Miles/Yr

    $0 Money Down

Trying to get rid of the turn in Fee at the end of the lease($300) but not sure if that will work. 71% residual at the end of the two years, and supposedly it works out to $100 bucks under the Invoice Price if I was going to purchase. Thoughts anyone. I don't know anything about lease deals. (Keys are was determined on a 24 month lease and 18k miles, so it jacked up the price a bit, any thoughts would be great (Honesty is always appreciated).) Thanks.

Anyone have any advice on deals for G25 journey in Dallas, Texas? Also is there a chance incentives could get better in March? Or do deals/lease incentives go away as spring approaches? Am I doing better to wait? Lastly, one deal gave me a money factor of .00114. Then another said that dies not even exist with IFS?? Any help is much appreciated! Thx!
  • txbelle1txbelle1 Member Posts: 66
    Is this a good deal?
With No Money Out of Pocket the payment would be $376 per month with 10,000 miles per year for 39 months
G25 no sunroof, only car mats...
The net capitalized cost is $30,937.
The residual percentage is 64% which is equal to $21,388.80.
    The money factor is 0.00144.

    OR is my counter unreasonable??
    $0 down
    39/mo
    12k miles
    TTL included
    Black/black interior
    G25 journey no moonroof.
    $275 month payment

    Thx!!

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00112 and 59%.

    The numbers for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G25X are .00111 and 62%.

Hi txbelle1. The money factor that you were quoted looks good. I would be happy to give you my opinion on the selling price that you were quoted if you provide me with either the MSRP or dealer invoice price of the vehicle that you're interested in.

I don't believe that Infiniti is currently providing any cash incentives on leases of this car.

    Lease Fee - 595
    Dealer Fee - 599
    Taxes - 7%
    Term - 39 10K/year

    Thanks Car_man! Please see below.

    The MSRP is $34,420
    The sale price is $30,760
The residual for 12K per year is 63% and for 10K is 64%.
    The money factor is 1.28.

The deal works out like this from dealer-
$375 per month, 12K miles per year, first payment only down, 38 payments remaining.
$366 per month, 10K miles per year, first payment only down, 38 payments remaining.

This is a journey G25 with moonroof.
    They also offered a demo.
I am trying to get a $325 payment.
    Realistic?
I do not have to have moonroof. That is just all they have in my color option.
    Thx!!
