2008 OB in the snow...excellent

Thought I would compliment Subaru on its AWD system. I picked up a very low mileage 2008 premium OB last May and had only had it out in a few inches last year before the weather warmed up. We are being hammered (N. Nevada) all weekend, and there was almost a foot on the roads last night.

As a few others have pointed out....I did see a couple of AWD trucks stuck off the roadside. This is coming from a person who has had 4x4 vehicles for over 30 yrs...but my this is my 1st Subaru. Only my older Land Rover (over 10 yrs ago) could do as well.

Glad to say the OB handled it just fine, even with almost new all season tires (no snow tires yet)

    Now get yourself some winter treads and really see it come alive!

    I had snow tires on my 98 Forester, and short of high centering it badly enough that the tires got off the ground completely, it was unstoppable.
