Headlights wont work properly

I hit a deer about a month ago, shattered the original light and bought a brand new one. The light will only glow.. its like the bulbs arent at full power.. Whats wrong with my car!??! Its a brand new headlight with brand new bulbs, so i know the bulbs aren't the problem.

    Make sure the wires at the headlight area are good. I had issues with mine on my 2001 GLS as they aged. They would short from the outer wrappings drying up and falling off.
