This is what I've been advised by NY Metro area dealers for the following vehicles:

    2014 Q50 Premium AWD 39mo, 15K/yr lease
    .00092 MF and 59% residual.

    2014 Q50 Premium Hybrid AWD 39mo, 15K/yr lease
    .00105 MF and 60% residual.

In my recent experience in the NY Metro area, if you have dealers compete for your business, you should be able to negotiate the Cap Cost to the invoice price for the vehicle (and that is before taking the $3,250 loyalty cash into consideration).

What kind of Cap costs are you seeing on the Q50 Premium RWD w/Nav? At or below invoice? Are there any discounts or incentives for November?

Are the Sport residuals 1% less or 2% less this month on those models (AWD Premium Sport and AWD Hybrid Sport). Post 4 does not include Sport models.

    Thanks.

Here is the deal I made last night:
Graphite Shadow/Graphite, RWD Premium, Deluxe, Nav, Leather, 19" Sport Tires, Illuminated Kick Plates, All Weather & Spare.

    39/10k Lease
    Residutal: 62%
    MF: .00104
    MSRP: 48,155
    Invoice: 44,449
Selling Price: 44,949 = $500 over invoice (includes tint and nitrogen)
    Lease Loyalty Cash: $3,250
    Bank Fee: $700
    Doc Fee: $499
    Tags: $717
Pre MSD payment $462 including 8.05% tax
9 MSDs of $3,915 to drop MF to .00014
    Payment $399 including 8.05% tax

Total cash at drive off was the first months payment of $399 and the MSDs of $3,915. By allowing Infiniti to hold my $3,915 for 39 months I am saving $63 a month. For a total savings during the lease term of $2,457. That is an amazing rate of return on savings. Dealers don't know about them is the problem. The dealership I went to had never done one and had to print instructions from the Infiniti web site. Of course the dealer I went to normally marks up the money factor so they don't want people to know how to reduce their interest.

A payment under $400 for a $48,000 car is quite incredible.

That is a great deal, made even better by the ROI/money saved from your MSD's. Incredible!

Prior to the MF bump in Nov. I was just a few days from leasing a C300. Luckily, I saw the commercial for Q50 and I'm totally sold!

Does anyone know if there is a "loophole" with respect to the loyalty cash? I've never owned an Infiniti but the extra decrease in cap cost (assuming I could negotiate to around Invoice) would seal the deal. I assume, however, that loyalty means just what it says...

I don't believe there's a loophole. The program requires that the customer must own/lease an Infiniti vehicle within 90 days of program commencement. That said, there may be another way for you to save. Google "infiniti vpp" for information on the Nissan/Infiniti Vehicle Purchase Program. You can download a list of over 2900 companies who's employees and immediate family members (and sometimes friends) may qualify for special discounts and pricing. The VPP website even gives you examples of the savings. I don't know anything more about the program, but it's worth checking out.
  • wsujasonwsujason Member Posts: 4
Thanks for the tip on the VPP. Looked through the list and even though it is huge I couldn't find a way to make it work for me (I'm in the public sector as are many friends/family). It's a shame, really, I'd have a hard time passing at those prices. Maybe a creative Infiniti dealer near Ohio will see this... HA!

I posted on the G37 forum before I realized there is a Q50 forum now…

Do you have Residuals/MF for a 15k per year miles lease for a 24 and 36/39 month period for a Premium with and without Nav?

Curious what everyone is negotiating their sale price down to before applying the $3250 loyalty cash? Have a G lease ending in February.

Can you please provide me the MF and residual for Q50 AWD Premium + leather; looking at 24 or 39 month lease, 10k miles/year. Thank you.

I have current lease and would like to take advantage of $3250 loyalty.

Can anyone shed any light on the base interior vs. leather?
    Thanks

I took delivery of a Q50 Sport Hybrid a few days ago and I think I got a great deal. But you can be the judge of that. I'm not trying to show how good or bad a negotiator I am, but rather what types of payments are available out there. I live in South Florida (Miami). The lease was for 39 months and 39,000 total miles. The MSRP of the car was $54,655 for a RWD hybrid sport with navigation and deluxe technology package among other things. The residual was 61 percent and the money factor used was .00115. I was able to get the car for $208 below invoice which was $50,260 (which included the dealer's $700 dealer fee). Since I wanted to have a lower payment similar to my G37 sedan that had a lease that was terminating, I ended up putting $3,200 out of pocket, including first month, Infiniti Financial bank fee, and registration fees. I also had $3,250 in loyalty cash. My payment ended up being $404.93 plus tax.

    Hi,

    What's the lease rates for base Q50 and Q50 Premium, 36 Months/10K?

Is there any lower mileage allowances? If there is, I'd like to know the lease rate as well. We've only drove 14K out of 36K with our '11 G37 and need to return in a couple of months. What a waste. :)

    TIA

On Friday, 08 I leased G37x in NY.
Thank to you I tried to use MSD. Sale manager told me that he doesn’t know about it and have to contact Infiniti. In short while he told that in NY(?) I can use maximum of $702(?) which is less than 2 payments (my payment was set to $379). In order to use at least two payments I have to put something down to reduce my payment to $350. (I put 0 down, no loyalty).
I called NMAC and was informed that MSD amount is up to dealer (??). So here I see a loop or game.
Do you happen to know where to find a real information/instruction about MSD.
Does it really depend on State/county?

    Your response really appreciated.

$42,455 MSRP Infiniti Q50 Premium AWD.
    $0 down.

    $440/month for 39 month 10k lease.

    $3250 loyalty cash.
    Assuming last 3 payments on G25 $400/month.

Sale price is $40,000 (taking $1,200 from last 3 payments & applying to sales price, so effectively $38,800)

    IL tax 7.25%

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

  • isbn1975isbn1975 Member Posts: 7
Am I doing something wrong? I got quoted $34,500 for a base Q50.

I did the calculation with the following numbers:

    2014 Q50 RWD Base 36mo, 10K/yr lease
    MSRP: $38,000 / Sales Tax 9%
    .00104 MF and 66% residual (w/9 MSD's, .00014 MF)
    Loyalty Incentive: $3,250
Bank, Doc, Title Fees: Approximately $1,200

With 0 Down, the payment comes out to......:

    $201.50

It can't be that low. What am I doing wrong? Dealer will look at me crazy if I bring these numbers. :(

$3250 loyalty incentive on top of the $3500 off sticker price?

I don't know the incentives for Infiniti, but that seems unlikely on a new model. Are you sure $3250 is the correct incentive on a lease?

It is confirmed. Q50s get $3250 loyalty in November. Makes you wonder, slow sales perhaps?
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051

That residual seems really high. The residual for a premium at 39 months is only 62%, and that is the term that they are really pushing right now.

I can guarantee that there is $3,250 lease loyalty cash right now, I used it to lease a Q50 last week.

    kyfdx,

Do you know if the residual on the base model is 4% higher than the premium on a 24 month lease as with the 39 month lease? I appreciate all the information you provide here. I'm hoping to drive a Q50 and a Cadillac ATS next week and determine the best route to go - Based on reviews, I suspect the Cadillac will be the better driver and the Q50 will be the better value - decisions-decisions. My current G37 has been an outstanding car. Thanks again.

Doesn't it have to be Sport or Premium?

    2014 Q50 Sport 36mo, 12K/yr lease
    .00104 MF and 59% residual.. Subtract 1% for 39 months, add 1% for 10K/yr

    2014 Premium 36mo, 12K/yr lease
Add 2% to all Sport model numbers.. same MF
