I know the 2014 Mazda 3 Just came out but I was wondering if anyone knew when we could expect to see leases being offered.

Also if someone does know the Residual and Moneyfactor for a 2014 Mazda3s Touring Hatch 36k Miles 3 Years once it does come out that would be great thanks!

Does anyone know the money factor and residual for a 2014 mazda 3 hatchback touring for 24 months 12k miles a year?
Also does anyone know if Mazda does one pay lease payment i.e- give them a check for $9000 and then make no lease payments. If they do the one time lease payment is there any discount? thanks

This may sound like a stupid question & I'm sorry for that, but
I don't know what to do with these "numbers" you give out. In other words, can someone quickly explain how I use these numbers to figure out if the lease is a good deal. Another question I have is.... is buying the car at the end of lease ever a good idea? My lease is up in Dec. I know I got screwed first time around because the "agreed upon" value of my 2010 mazda i is $18,926 & I know thats too high for this car. My payments were 240 a month for 42 months ( 0 down ) due at signing) and now to buy the car they want $11,885. That would mean I paid in total $22,000 for a car thats not worth that much. Can you help a total newbie please. How do I apply these numbers to get a good deal????? I'm in Queens NY

Also, I have a Honda Civic lease and I was told Mazda is giving $500 towards a Mazda 3 lease for current Civic owners. Any truth to that? If yes, what are the details? .00094 MF and 57% residual.

There are about a dozen states that usually get better rates than the national rates, and NJ is one of them. Unfortunately, I didn't get the special rates this month, so the actual MF could be lower. The residuals won't change, though.

Last month, the national rate was the same as above, but NJ had a rate of .00064

Rochester, NY here.

Just signed a lease for a 2014 Mazda3 5-door i Sport (cargo tray and mats). 36/mo 12k @ $252. Traded in my old and broken 86 Volvo for $300 (pretty much scrap). No cash out of pocket. 59% residual. MF was super low... 0.000032

How'd I do?

Turns out the salesperson made an error with the Money Factor. 0.00032, not 0.000032. They shaved a little more off because of the error and were able to give me $255/mo. Still, I think I did well. Pretty sure they lost money judging by the Reynolds screen, hehe.

Yeah... that's about a $9/mo. mistake. If your payment only went up by $3/mo., then they ate about $215
