Getting ready to lease a 2014 JGC Altitude or Limited in Massachusetts. Could you please provide the current money factor and residules? Lease would be 36 months 12,000 miles per year. Thank you.

Hi,

Can someone post the MF and residual value for a JGC Limited 4x4 15k miles for Illinois?

Also, does anyone know the impact of the IL 7/1 lease tax changes? Is it simply that the tax is only applied to each pmt instead of the entire cap cost of the car?

I think the new rule in Illinois will tax the sum of the payments, plus any CAP reduction. It appears that amount will be collected at lease start (similar to Ohio)

Looking at JGC Overland 4x4 leases... 36 month/12kmiles. Negotiated price $41,361, Msrp $47030 - Was offered $599/month 53% residual. Only first month down.

Is this a good deal? I've done some calculations and looks like payment should be lower basement on Chrysler cap MF's right now, but multiple dealers won't budge. -- wash DC metro area

What's the best way to get a better deal? 39 months? Push harder? Dealers seem to be pulling numbers out of thin air which makes me think there's room still.

whtlghtng you can get them down to low $500s. Just put a couple of dealers against each other. This is assuming you have excellent credit.

Janulbug. Even on an overland? They started in the high 600s and one dealer won't even match. This is with everything rolled in, taxes, fees, etc

The dealer is pushing me to close a deal on a 4x4 Overland w/Hemi for 36 mo and 12k mi/yr $535/mo and $535 due at signing (including TT&L). Is this a good deal, or can I get them down further? I was hoping for $512, is that unreasonable?

In KS andLooking to pull the trigger on a GC 14 Overland 4x4 MSRP 47585 Net Cap Cost 45483 For a 36mo\15K yr they quoted 646.91 month (TTL) w/ 0 down (residual .51 mf .00007) First time getting into a Jeep and wanting to know if this is on par with a fair deal. Thanks

I show .00005 MF and 50% residual... but the differences are neglible.

With your terms, I get a payment of $594/mo. + tax..

@jtn1983‌ - that is an incredible deal. Thank you for outlining. I agree on the process. I have been loyal to BMW for 10 years and looking for a break. Jeep has been an absolute horror to deal with. They couldn't try harder to avoid making a sale. I have been very disappointing in their dealings, and unprofessional process from every dealer in my area.

Hi guys,

I went to my local Jeep dealer yesterday and was interested in getting an Overland, 4x2, no extras (just standard model).

At $3500 total cash, they came back at $541 a month. MSRP is $44,190. It seems high to me based on what others are stating here. Excellent credit, 36-months, 12k miles. I'd honestly rather do 24-months, but they are saying that it would cost much more.

I believe others are able to get into the low $500s with zero down.

They offered a Limited 4x2, with no extras for $371 a month. MSRP on that is $38,

Although I've owned twenty-something vehicles, this would be my first lease.

This would be in FL, if it makes any difference. Where should I realistically be monthly payment wise?

The MF is .00012 and the residual is 51% - to get a $500 payment with 9% sales tax added in, you will have to negotiate a net cap cost (including all fees) of around $39,750.

Can it be done? I'm not in the market, so can't answer that, but getting $6K off from the dealer seems to be a challenge.

The Limited trim level has a residual that is 4% better, just so you know.

Residual is always calculated off the MSRP of the vehicle.

Those are the base rates.... some dealers will try to mark up the rate for extra profit.
