I believe the 2014 has a base price that is approximately 5000 less than the 2013. This makes the 2014 a better deal.

I am about to lease a GX 460 premium. The October MF according to the dealer is .0013. According to the sales manager, the MF for the base is .009 and the premium is .0013. Is that true?
Do you know what the MF and residual for 36 months/12k miles per year is going to be in November? I might wait until Nov 1 to see if the numbers improve.
    I appreciate your help.

I know that the base model has the .0090 MF, and that the Premium Package is higher.... I just don't know how much higher... Their numbers could certainly be correct..

The current Lexus lease specials are scheduled to run through November 14th, but they could always change them before that... but, we won't know them until they do...

  • Hi,

I'm looking for a 2014 Lexus GX460 with the Comfort Package, Navigation, etc. I believe the MSRP is around 57K.

Does anyone know the Residual Value and Money Factor for a 27 month and 36 month lease with 15k miles/year? I believe the Invoice is somewhere around 52K.

I'm looking to lease soon so if anyone can provide this information as soon as possible, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks.

That's an excellent price you got there, which dealer did you purchase from?

    Thanks in advance
  • I got it from Germain Lexus in Naples, FL. They were very nice to deal with

Our original agreed price was $53,000.

I had to wait about a month for it to come in from port. I agreed to the dealer fee because with it you get free oil changes for the duration of your ownership. I negotiated the lease when car arrived and there was some lease fee from lexus financial that i didn't want to pay. Rather than waive the fee, they reduced the cap cost by another $250. Hope that helps.

  • Desperately need your view on the deal that I am about to jump on:

    Monthly Payment: $650

GX460 Premium, $56,974 sticker (not yet sure what invoice will be, guessing around 51K)
    0 Down
    27 months at 10K/year
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT of about $5K (is it safe???)

Planning to buy out after lease end (residual promises to be in the 35-36K area).

Please please let me know if this is a good deal.

  • Does anyone know the Dec to Remember #s for a 36 month lease on a GX460? Is it .0009 for the non-lux? Is this a good lease? Would you lease or purchase this vehicle?

  • Hello carman or kyfdx, Can you please tell me what the MF and residual value on GX460 ?
    7500 miles/yr for 36 months and 27 months?
    thank you

  • kyfdxkyfdx Posts: 156,926

The money factor is .00080 without the premium package... .00150 with the premium package..

The residual for 27mo, 10K/yr is 67%. If a 7500mi./yr option is available, the residual would be 1% higher. I don't have the 36 month residuals.

    thanks,

I'm not sure if the luxury model has the Premium package, or not (I'm guessing it does). Here is a copy of the only information that I have on GX460 leases, this month.

_ The money factor is .00080 without the premium package... .00150 with the premium package..

    The residual for 27mo, 10K/yr is 67%. _

    .00150 MF and 59% residual.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what sort of discount you can get. It's a pretty popular vehicle that doesn't lease very cheaply.

Thanks Michaell. I was just told by the finance manager at my local dealer in NC that the .0008 applies only to the base model, and the money factor when you add the premium package is .00160. Is he just trying to fleece me or is this correct?

He's partially correct - the MF for the Premium and Luxury versions of the GX460 are .00150 for Tier 1+ (720+ FICO) and .00160 for Tier 1 (690-719).

Thanks again Michaell. The dealer is offering me .0022. Can you give me any guidance on what the typical spread over the Lexus published rate would be? Is it realistic for me to push for the .00150? I am an 800 FICO.

You should absolutely push for the .00150 - anything higher is simply profit for the dealer.

The base money factor is truly just for the base, they classify the mid model as a premium edition and that falls into the luxury money factor...

I'm looking to lease a basic 2014 model. Lexus is offering a lease special for 27 months, $3,999 down (excluding tax, title, etc.), 10K mileage/yearly for $499/month. Is this a good deal? Is MF still .00080 and residual 67%? Thank you!

There are two money factors for the GX this month - Premium/Luxury is .00140, while the base is .00070.

    67% residual for 27/10 valid until 7/7.

    I think these should work:

    Base - .00070

    Premium - .00140

    57% residual for both.

Not sure how the dealer can offer a MF lower than that from LFS?

IL taxes just kill the deal, don't they?

They said the rate was a special in IL on the GX. The tax law is awful, other than that, seem reasonable?

Now that I think about it, Lexus does publish special rates for IL. I don't have them and thus quoted you the national numbers.

    I get a payment of $745.22.

Hi, I was hoping to get the July residual and money factor for a base GX 460.
The car I am looking at has an MSRP of $57K and the dealer is using a .0015 MF.
They are offering a payment of $650/month for a 36 month/12K mile lease. Any thoughts if that's a good deal?

Base MF for the GX460 base is .00070, so your dealer is marking up the MF on you quite a bit. Base MF for the premium and luxury versions is .00140 by comparison.

58% residual for 36/12 on all trim levels.

I would need to know the selling price before commenting on your deal, but given that they have marked up the MF, I would say you have some room to negotiate.

Thanks so much for the help Michael.
Here are the specifics of what I've been offered:

    MSRP: $57K
    Selling Price: $53K
    Due at inception: $1,576
Residual: 63% (seems off, maybe why they used a higher MF)?
    12K miles/ 36 months
    Base Payment: $619 + taxes = $650/ month

Any sense for whether I have room to negotiate the selling price further given it's the end of the model year?

The residual is set by the finance company and cannot be modified by the dealer. However, they could be using a different finance company other than LFS. If so, we don't have any way to validate those numbers.
