1.56% MF and 58% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr lease. Subtract 2% from the residual for the 39 month term.

Sorry havent really asked many questions here before and have gotten blasted on other forums. Was wondering if I can get some insight into the deal I was looking at. One other question is I was told they are offering $1500 if you come from a non gm lease. So does that mean you can also adjust the MSRP lower on top of the $1500?

This is on a Luxury with Nav, sunroof, xm and heated seats.

Your numbers are the same that I have, except I show the money factor as 2.0%, not 2.25%, but that could easily be a regional difference in programs.

I like that you rolled all the costs into the lease, rather than a big upfront payment.

Your rebate has to be applied to upfront costs, or deducted from the selling price.. it doesn't affect the MSRP or residual.

I just had another dealership do somewhat better. The MSRP was higher and the payment lower. I am waiting on another dealership to get back to me. Looking at the number and based on what I think invoice is I going to try for some more off MSRP.

Hey CarMan - your info is GREATLY appreciated - you've helped me get some great deals in the past. I'm currently considering a lease on a 2014 Cadillac SRX. Are the current (March 2014) residuals and money factors the same for all trim levels? I'm split between an AWD Premium package and a FWD Luxury package. 36 or 39 month lease at 12K miles per year, Anything you can provide would be welcome!

Ally numbers are the same for all trim levels of the SRX

2.00% MF and 60% residual for 36mo, 12K/yr. 58% for 39mo, 12K/yr

Looking at a 2014 SRX Luxury AWD msrp 46700 / actual 39882 for 36/12k lease. Have the lease numbers changed since March, 2.00% MF and 60% residual? Does the SRX Luxury FWD have a different residual? Thank you!

SRX Luxury AWD - 2.00% and 60% (same as March)

SRX Luxury FWD - same as AWD

1.75% APR and 61% residual for 36mo, 10K/yr. Subtract 2% from residual for 39 months

I am looking for a lease on a SRX FWD Luxury MSRP 45,060 at 39 months with 12k miles a year. Can you tell me what my selling price would need to be to get a payment around $435 /month including tax. I was thinking $39,800 using the lease calculator. Thanks

I show right around $40,000, pre-tax.. I don't know your tax rate

If you want $435/mo, including 6% tax, then you'll need to be around $39,100

Add 1% to residual for 10K/yr. Subtract 2% for 39 months. $500 lease cash.

36/12 - 1.30% and 58%. $500 lease cash.

Question: I have a lease on a 2012 Cadillac SRX through Ally which puts a penalty of $2,500 on the residual value if you want to purchase the car at any time during or at the end of the lease. Has anyone else had Ally stick them like this? The residual was set at 50% on a 39 month lease, so there was no reason to put this kind of penalty on the lease.

Ally started doing that early in 2012, I think... Kept it up for about 18 months... then stopped, as it made absolutely no sense. If you are interested in buying the vehicle, you can always call Ally customer service, and ask to speak to a supervisor. It's possible that they have come to their senses, and may waive the fee. (no guarantees, though).

Well, Ally refused and insists on adding $2500 to the residual value. According to the 3 dealers I've talked to, Ally wants even more if the dealer buys it out. Talk about screwy. Heck of a way to deal with someone who has been leasing from GMAC since the 1970's.

That residual seems very high for a 2014. Does that hold true for an FWD Premium?

I wouldn't consider it high for a 24 month lease..

All SRXs have the same lease program through Ally, regardless of trim.

I'm looking at a 2014 SRX Luxury with paint upgrade and a couple of options. Sticker price $46,740. 39 month lease; 10k miles, $1000.00 GM points from me; $509 monthly complete. First month's lease payment and license fees due at signing. Good deal? I'm thinking of contributing another 2K cash to lower the monthly to $450.00. Worth it?

This is Pennsylvania. I only saw the figures at the dealer and I think the cost in play was $44,000. I think you are right about 'money down' - with 2k over 39 months I'd only 'save' $230.

The 2014 SRX for 39 months and based on 10,000 miles per year with the first payment and tags down ($790) had 38 remaining payments of $499; The MSRP is $46,940 and the selling price of $44850, less your GM card of $1,010.49 and $1,500 from Cadillac for a balance of $43,339.51 plus tax and tags (which are included in the payments)
