Separate items, but not 100% certain if the conquest cash can be applied to a lease.

I'm looking to lease (36mo/15k miles/yr) a 2014 CTS AWD 3.6 Luxury w/ 18" wheels, Magnetic Ride, sunroof and navigation. I was offered $1625 in rebates (does not include conquest cash even though I'm trading a 2009 Audi). Please let me know current MF and residual and if the conquest cash applies to leases. The dealer discounted to invoice $56,817, rent charge factor of .00129, residual 54%. Tax/title/doc totals $3531. Payment quoted was $406.31. This looks like a bad deal to me. Please recommend where I can negotiate. They are offering $15k for trade in of the Audi. Thanks!

The banks that Cadillac uses all use APRs for their money factors.

I'm showing 1.85% APR and 54% residual, plus the $1625 lease cash. 1.85% APR would definitely be lower than .00129 MF.

I don't have the answer to your Conquest Cash question. Is your trade-in paid off? Are they taking the full $15K as an upfront payment? If so, then this is a very bad deal. What is the MSRP of the CTS?

The Audi is paid off and they are taking the full $15k as an upfront payment. The MSRP is $60,300. Please confirm that the I should be shooting to lower the .00129 to .000771. Thanks again!

Yes.. you should be getting a lower money factor. Also, I would never put $15K on a lease... but, besides that, divide that $15K by 36 months, and your effective monthly payment for the CTS is over $800/mo.

If I couldn't get a better deal than that, I'd shop for a different car.

If the dealership doesnt negotiate down, then you're right, it's not worth it. If they do however match the 1.85% MF, then it's on par with other luxury cars with an MSRP of $60k. Can you tell me the MF and residual for a CTS 2.0T AWD Luxury? Maybe Cadillac is giving more incentives for that model.

I'm new to Leasing so have been reading up on all the forums, I've started getting quotes from dealers in my area (Chandler, AZ) but they seem to be not so good deals...

I sent several dealers in my area an email (as described in several of the forums here) requesting bids, but I've been having a heck of a time getting them to give me offer. They all say "bring me your best offer from another dealership and I'll beat it by $500"

I got the "beat it by $500" from 6 dealers so far, must be a magic number!

So far I've only gotten one of them to give me written offer (one other is coming tomorrow), here is the first (I attached the full bid).

When I did the TrueCar Value on USAA Website the car was $60,639.
APR seems really high, I have a 710 credit score, but i did not have them run it, nor did they ask me.

What items am I able to negotiate? Residual? APR?
What are some tricks to get the pricing down?
I currently own a 2007 Escalade (that I plan on keeping), it was not a Lease. Would this qualify me for any GM Incentive?

Any help on this would be fantastic!

Without getting into all the details, the biggest issue with the price is the lease term. The 27 month term is just not very good. You can save a lot by going with 36 months, where the rate drops to 1.85% APR and the residual only drops by 4%.

I can't really comment on the selling price, as I'm not in the market. But, the last time I shopped a Cadillac was in 2011, and I remember a CTS going for about $50K!! Holy Cow, has that price shot up!

36/12 - 1.30% or 1.24%, depending on option package. 59% for 36/12; add 1% for 10k

No difference based on engine, only equipment packages.

24/12 - 3.4% or 3.7% MF; residual of 63% or 65%

36/12 - .72% or 1.08% MF; residual of 58% or 55%

39/12 - same MF as 36 mo; residual of 56% or 53%

Add 1% to above for 10k per year

The bank and the manufacturer determine those numbers... we just report them. The numbers are the same for your model.

We only have Ally Bank lease numbers for Cadillac.

1.20% APR and residual of 53% or 50% depending on trim level/packages. Either $1200 or $1400 lease cash (again, dependent on trim/packages).
