Ford needs a limited production Sport model with there new 2.7 Eco-Boos V6 or 2.3 T 4 cylinder with a M/T option for enthusiasts. I still think the interior/exterior are one of the best in class, and the chassis is great, but I would want something I can enjoy driving, and even the 2.0T was too slow for my taste. Maybe, just maybe, Ford will redo the Taurus the right way this time and I could consider that instead.
The most significant (and worst) news in this article: "The Fusion with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission is discontinued for the 2015 model year."
