anyone buy or lease a 2014 rogue yet, if so, what did you pay?

  • brian125brian125 Member Posts: 5,244

Folks buy at the end of the month last 2days, last day. This will help you get the dealers best price. Get as many dealerships involved as your willing to travel..

Quoted $30, 428 on a 2014 Rogue SL with Premium Package in Central Texas. I feel like this might be on the high side. Any opinions?

  • g6leaserg6leaser Member Posts: 160

Honestly at this point, not a bad price for that vehicle. Invoice is probably around $30,600.

I think you can get $3000 off an SL Rogue Premium. Just have to call the right place.

Thanks to all for sharing their numbers, i just purchased a 2014 Rogue SV AWD with moonroof package and other accessories for $26800 OTD in VA, MSRP before tax was 28,600, i think
i got an amazing deal, quarter and month end is the perfect time to shop and Rogue has a much better bang for your buck than CRV and CX5 which was also on my shopping list.

Purchased 2014 Rogue SV AWD w/Premium Pkg, Auto Dimming R-view Mirror, Fog Lights, Splash Guards, & Floor Mats - MSRP $29045 - OTD less CT tax & registration $25230 a couple months ago (March 2014). Have about 3500 miles, avg. 27.5 mpg with approx. 60% highway travel. Have seen about 2.5 mpg improvement with warmer temps in May.

I got a quote from a dealer in NY for 2014 Nissan Rogue Select with Convenient Package at $17,886 + TTL. Is it a good price this model? Thanks.

  • steverstever Guest Posts: 52,454

Invoice looks to be $22,488 and there's a $1,000 incentive right now, so our True Market Value price (for a Buffalo zip code) is $21,814. I assumed you are pricing the AWD version in NY.

So yeah, looks like a killer deal.

Even if you are pricing the FWD version, it looks like invoice is 21,178, the same incentive applies, so TMV would be $20,238. So still looks like a killer deal.

  • joeforjobjoeforjob Member Posts: 37

I am looking for around $17,000 for this car because this model does not look VERY HOT now.
    Let us see what happen.

  • steverstever Guest Posts: 52,454

People seem to like the car but not the CVT transmission. Have you read the long-term test articles here? There's a 2014 Rogue in the Edmunds.com test fleet. Besides the transmission, the sunvisors are a bit overkill. Other features are liked.

So...when you do the test drive, be sure to comment on the visors and try to complain about the CVT even if it drives fine to you. Maybe the dealer will knock a few more bucks off.

Thank you for your information. I will let you know if I make the deal happen.

Good luck! They really are nice looking rigs. I had great luck putting 200k miles on my '99 Nissan minivan too. Just wore it out (finally) in the last few months and sold it cheap to a teenager.

I got a quote from a Bay area dealer in CA for '2014 Nissan Rogue Select S (FWD)' with Convenience package for $20872 (OTD) only if I finance with nissan OAC. The rough breakup: $18,703 with delivery, Prep about %2 = $370 and ~ $1790 tax.

Stever, is this a good deal?

  • steverstever Guest Posts: 52,454

Hm, invoice over in Oakland would be $21,178 with an ad fee of $201. Hate those, so call it $20,977.

I know the "Select" is the previous-generation Rogue, but it looks like the dealer is paying the taxes for you.

The dealer should be paid by Nissan for the "prep" so that sounds like another junk fee, but overall, your deal sounds good.

Try getting a Price Promise certificate and see how that goes (the captive financing may be helping your deal more than I think though).

I got a quote in Atlanta from one of the dealers for $27,000 OTD (MSRP - $27,890). Is this a good pricing or is there more $ savings I could extract by shopping around? I'm looking for optional family package for occasional use for children

2014 Nissan Rogue SV + Family Package + Premium Package
Accessories Include: CHROME REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR; RETRACTABLE CARGO COVER; FLOOR MATS; SPLASH GUARDS.

Did you close the deal? What is your final OTD? I am trying to buy same vehicle in NC with premium and moonroof package. Most of the dealers are not sharing the numbers in email here.

  • steverstever Guest Posts: 52,454

That's frustrating - guess they don't want people coming in with something in writing.

  • kp1321kp1321 Member Posts: 6

Looking at getting a Rogue in the Seattle area, pricing I got for a SV with the premium package was 28,500 (includes delivery) which seems a little high. There is very low inventory around here so that seems to make it more difficult to negotiate.

Seems like a great deal! I am looking for same model and package with FWD.
I assume thats excluding the TTL.Thats nearly 2200 below invoice. Does it include destination and any dealer fees? Where did you buy? whats was OTD?

Destination is included, only fee added on was a $499 doc fee and $11 finance charge but I got a check back from the dealer for most of that. Price is excluding TTL because I purchased it out of state and just paid everything when I got to the DMV. I think OTD I was at 28,541.79 but I have a high tax rate in NYC. Send me a private message if you want to talk about the dealership, I don't think that's allowed on forum

You can reference the dealership and first names of any people you worked with, just not any contact information - phone, email, etc.

carman89 please send info. how much was before tax

  • andygoldusaandygoldusa Member Posts: 1

carman89...I'm in Northern NY, but willing to travel to purchase. I too am considering the SV with Premium package (wish I could buy the LED headlights separate, or even HID), trying to stay below 25K before TTL.
Please name your dealer and person.

    Thanks

Anybody getting a military discount? If so, how much?
Looking at SL w/ premium, auto dim mirror, cargo cover and mats for $30,300 before tax and tags. BTW, OTD prices are good to hear, but state sales taxes have huge variations. In S.C. the sales tax is capped at $300 and title transfer is $29.

    Thanks.

I'm in Canada, so its not really applicable but I got a slawd premium pack. for 32,000. Making way for 2015's I guess, but seems a great price. US price I would think would be much less. p.s. I love this car and feel its under priced because of the competition in this segment.

It's very difficult to get OTD price at the MSRP in Los Angeles area. Most dealers quoted OTD $1000 to $2000 above MSRP. I feel frustrated buying a Rogue here.

Are you getting quotes by email @torr310? If you don't mind driving, try expanding your search area. And try comparing numbers with our Price Promise too.

You should be doing a lot better as the 2015's are either out or almost out. One salesman called and said there were 16 2015 Rogue SL's with premium package within a couple of hundred miles that he could get his hands on. Told him I bought a 2014 from someone else.
Near as I can figure, got about $2,600 off on an SL with Premium Package, Auto dim mirrors and a couple of other minor things. This assumes my trade-in was worth $7,000 which is where I placed it based on aveage of several sources.
BTW, I did not include $300 sales tax or $25 title fee in calculating above.
Nissan does have a $500 discount for military-active, reserve, retired.
