    Yep, it's amazing how speed and incline and driving style affect MPG. Our 13 Pilot is the first vehicle with a MPG meter and it's crazy. Going flat 60 mph out east averaged nearly 30 mpg! Going over hills and stop-and-go traffic can yield as low as 17 mpg. Increasing up to 70-80 mph can severely lower those numbers.

    The MDX is still doing really well in terms of MPG and it's delivery probably the best real world 3 row CUV efficiency you'll find. (The ecoboost Explorer promises more but doesn't deliver and is FWD only.) I'm wondering if the upcoming Pilot which will be an MDX without some of the added weight for luxury features and soundproofing will really move the needle even higher.
