huh. Looks a bit like an old Infiniti grille. Wonder if that's some sort of rendering of the Japanese Nissan version of it.

ahhh... you changed the pic when I was typing. Looks weirder now, but I'll still go with Japanese Q45 for the hell of it.

It looked Japanese to me too, though could be Korean.

Some kind of Hyundai genesis ancestor ?

Though could certainly be a Russian knock off model. Or Chinese.

You need to think of the lesser Japanese brands. (not lessser as corporations but as car makers).

Historical Note of Interest: It was one of the first, if not the first, Japanese cars ever built as a luxury model. You might say the genetic ancestor of the Lexus.

This one pictured is a later version of the original 1964 debut car.

    G'day

It looks like a Hyundai from about 1990 which derived from a Mitsubishi design. However the grille looks more Japanese, so presume it is a top line Mitsubishi. The name was something aspirational, which escapes me at 2:00am when I should be asleep.

    Cheers

And if the Mitsubishi Debonair name was not bad enough, the Korean version was the Hyundai Grandeur!

The Debonair was supposedly a competitor for the Toyota Crown, Honda Legend and Nissan Cedric (or Gloria), all being Japanese Domestic Market Luxury cars.

Keerect (it's an '88). Apparently the Merkur (nee Euro Ford Sierra) was a decent car to drive but the styling department really botched the job.

Yup that is the Ferrari 375Mille Migli originally commissioned by Roberto Rosellini for his wife Ingrid Bergman as a Spider in 1954(body by Pinin Farina). It was later rebodied as a coupe by Ferrari's in-house builder Scaglietti.

I think the 59 Pontiac guess is a good one. At first I thought the apparent three taillights within the glass might have been an Edsel, but upon closer review I don't think so.

49-50 Ford convert, probably a Crestline. Can't tell the year for sure since there are no door handles. 57 Ford Skyliner.

The convertible was simply listed as a 49 Ford convertible.

The white Ford was listed as a Fairlane 500 Retractable, circa 1957. The owner brought it down from Fargo.

The red convertible reminds me of something but I keep being diverted by the shape of the headlights which I suspect are a USA specific variation from the period where pop-up headlights were not permitted in USA(early 1970s?)

The stance also looks a little wrong, perhaps lowered suspension or wrong size wheels.

I had it pegged as a Fiat 850 Spider. Am I wrong?

Well I got that wrong! When I went and looked at some images of the 850 convertible, the line which I thought was an odd headlight bulge, was clearly a reflection line.

Did anybody name the Oldsmobile? That's a '58, I believe and without looking it up, I think it's a 98.

And the blue and white '56 Ford in the background of the red convertible.

Yup, that most certainly is a Fiat 850 Spider. The headlights indicate a late series car ('68-'71).

Pre-1968 cars had a different design featuring faired-in headlights w a much lower profile but revised safety regs for '68 led to the revised headlight profile, the same thing happened to the Jag E-Types which ruined the looks of a startlingly beautiful car.

The little Fiat was less beautiful (not to mention a lot slower but an interesting design nonetheless.

    Here's the original design seen on a 1967 Spider>

Styling was by Bertone and was based on a famous concept car, the Bertone Testudo>
