More J.A. Pan & Co. "styling." Most cars you can drive away with the ignition key and a tankful of fuel...this one looks like you'd drive it away with a can of RAID.

    This can go 2 ways:
    1. It will take 10 years to produce, Toyota will make 50 of them at $500K a pop and nobody will ever see one except at a car show.

    2. It will take 8 years to produce, the design will be "refined" a dozen times and will be underpowered and overpriced.

Meanwhile Nissan sits wondering why nobody else makes a $35K, 2 seat sports car.

Way too radical for Toyota - They can't even redesign their own Toyota Tacoma its running on a 9-year cycle! And of course the first paragraph speaks for its self: "There are no plans to put the FT-1 into production" The front hints at RX8 the rear looks like the front clip of the new 4runner stuck on! Toyota might be the biggest auto producer, but folks the competition is furious today. Many good High HP products avaliable. Agree with ed341! Back to Barret Jackson...

The first Toyota product that I may like in 20 years, after the Supra Turbo (considering it will be built and priced accordingly).
LF-A maybe a hoot to drive, but for its price, it just doesn't have the presence of the Aventador.
