  Well, you guys listed the price of the corvette and GTR for a reason. The performance of the Turbo 911 is definitely a step up from those cars (perhaps not much of a step compared to the GTR), but as it's been the case for the last decade(s), the small bit of performance edge comes with a exponential increase in price compared to the competition.

  This may be the first series where I dislike the look of the wide-body version compared to the standard. Still, impressive.

  I know Turbos are not the connoisseurs' preferred 911, but I love these things. In fact, the new Caymans and Boxsters are so good, it's hard to justify the price premium for a 911 instead until you get to the GT3/Turbo range. Big price jump, but it's nearly a different species of car. And also -- 25mpg freeway for a car that can do a sub 3.0 second 0-60? Yowza.

  Porsche's pricing is ridiculous. A rear engine car in 2013 is pathetic.
  They should just drop the 911 and give the Boxter/Cayman turbos and awd. But, they won't, and I will never buy a Porsche. Besides, why would you buy a 911 turbo over a GTR or a Corvette ???
