    I know it is popular to credit the Ron Burgundy commercials for the increase in Durango sales; but that's just not the case. The Durango sales increase started much earlier this year - the October unit sales of the Durango were actually less than the average of the last six months. The October Burgundy commercials did not create a bump in sales when compared to the immediate six months prior to the campaign.
