    I'd be interested in seeing how it does on something like the new IIHS small overlap crash tests. Does the car have a similar crash structure to traditional ICE vehicles (i.e. two rails and a bumper bar), or is it significantly different?

    There is significant internal bracing where the engine in an ICE would normally be. The frontend is very well protected.

    There have been a couple of small offset crashes already in the news (looks for Tesla accident Laguna Canyon, for example) and the car performs quite well. Having said that, I too am quite interested in the IIHS results.
