    It's crazy how poor gas mileage you all consistently get. Be it due to LA traffic, your lead foots, or a combination of both, I suspect your mpg results are much worse than others would observe with the same car in other parts of the country. Here in Phoenix, we consistently get at least 55-57 mpg in our Prius C in mixed driving. (My mother in law averages 65-67 mpg when she drives the C - granted, she crawls!)

    @klinkerkc: It isn't just Edmunds. It's mostly all of the car media-- except for CU. Most of the media want to "Let's see what this baby can do." So they mash the throttle whenever they can. And since Edmunds has a bunch of editors who will

    Fuelly.com says 50.3. for 411 separate vehicles. They say there are only 21 of them averaging 55 mpg and only 15 averaging 57, so you are kind of on the high end. There are only 6 averaging 62 mpg, and that's as high as they go.
