Is this a good deal. Tahoe LTZ 66150 MSRP. In NJ 39/12K mile lease. Selling price 61700, MF 2.45 and residual of 58. $700 per month including tax and fee's (MV, doc, NJ extra tax) with $3K down.

My calculations with your numbers show $700.35/mo before tax, so your quote looks pretty good if it includes tax.

However, we don't recommend you put any money down on a lease - do you know how much of the $3,000 up front is used for cap cost reduction?

Does anyone have the revised residual and lease rates for October for Tahoe LTZ 39/12 and 39/15. Also is Chevy offering any new incentives on the car? I know costco members can get supplier pricing plus a rebate.

The residual is the value they place on the vehicle at lease end. It's a percentage of the MSRP.

To convert the APR to an approximate money factor, divide by 2400. The money factor is set by the bank that is renting you the vehicle.

Oh forgot that. The MSRP is $60,835, I'm not sure about the selling price and the monthly payment $600 tax included.

Hard to evaluate the deal without that information.

But, in general, $600/mo with tax for a $60K car is not a bad deal.

Hi kyfdx, I am looking at a 2015 4x4 LTZ with an MSRP of 67,000, with a sell price of 62,000. $3330 due at signing (1st month, taxes, fees) and payment of $745/month for 39 month/15,000 miles. Is this a good deal or worth waiting until December to see new deals? Thanks for the feedback...

2.50% APR and 58% or 56% residual

Assuming all additional costs are in your upfront money, I get a payment of about $699/mo.+tax.. ($731/mo. with lower residual) So, if you are happy with the selling price, then the math looks to be good, assuming tax is still to be added.

No idea about December, but there isn't anything that can really get worse, as far as the lease deal.. .wouldn't hurt to wait. Or, leverage the last few days of this month to try to work a better deal.

Hi guys. My Dad's getting "the itch" and is ready for Tahoe #3. He's thinking of leasing this time around. Can you give me the mf & RV for a 2015 4WD Tahoe LT for 36 months/20K miles per year. If you don't have the 20K, then I'll take 15K & do the math. In NY. Thanks!

2.50% APR and either 60% or 58% residual, depending on the trim line, for 36mo, 15K/yr.
(no.. don't know which number the LT qualifies for).

We would need to know the selling price. Also, how much of the $3300 trade equity was used as cap cost reduction?

$57,609.18 was the "agreed" selling price according to the lease paperwork. Says $58,566.56 to the right of that though . $3341.74 was used as cap cost reduction.

I wouldn't use that $3341.74 as a cap cost reduction - if the car gets stolen r totaled at any time during the lease, you lose that money

What would you use then as a cap cost reduction? The $58,566.56 is the Gross Cap Cost. I got a quote of $600/ month tax included, 39 months ,12k miles. Residual is 58% and MF is 2.352% (.00098).

The only up front money should be for the first payment, fees and tags.

Lots of moving parts there, and can only estimate the residual for 20K/yr..

But, I see around $735/mo. + tax, but I may be underestimating the residual hit for 20K/yr.

My Dad currently owes about $5,000 more than his 2011 Tahoe LTZ is worth. He's going to have to roll that $5K into his 39 month lease which equates to an additional $129 per month or so. It is one of the downfalls of the 0% for 72 month financing he took back when he bought the truck in 2012.

If the extra mileage charge is added to the CAP cost, I get $853/mo.+tax.
If the extra mileage charge is used to reduce the residual, I get $843/mo.+tax.

If they are using an actual MF instead of an APR, they are probably going through a different bank than Ally, and I can't verify it (though, the residual is the same).
The 2.50% APR from Ally roughly equals .0011

I would think the added 16,250 miles would be added into the cap cost. I'm pretty sure the bank is Ally. So if its $853 per month plus $71.44 tax is $924.44. He's at $930 right now. Not too far off.

You used the 2.5% APR or the .00148 (3.55%) I'm being quoted?

Looks like I'm going to shoot for plan B. I'm going to have Dad's '11 professionally detailed on the inside, bring it up for them to see & hopefully get some more trade money out of them so there's less negative equity and get them to give me the base 2.5% APR.
