Hey everyone,
Ok so I placed my deposit for my 2015 550i and got a week 29 build date.
Please let me know your thoughts if this sounds like a good deal.
2015 550i
X04 Moonstone Metallic
LZMW Mocha Nappa Leather
4CE Anthracite Wood Trim
ZMM M Sport
ZEC Executive Package
6NS Enhanced USB and Bluetooth Plus Smartphone Integration
ZRT Remove Top Speed Limited
Price as configured which includes destination and handling $75,375
Selling price $71,095 + $80 doc + $725 acq fee + $573 lic fee + $29 cap fees
= $71,124 Net Cap Cost
7 MSD at $900 = $6300 giving a MF of .81
$864 Advanced payment
$1457 upfront charges = $8622 total down and $6300 MSD back at end of lease
12,000 miles per year
Residual .61% = $45,978
Monthly payment $793 + monthly CA tax $71
Total Monthly $864

Am I missing anything important?
Thoughts and many thanks!

Given the lease program on that vehicle, I don't know how you could have done any better.

That is a great deal.. Over 8% off MSRP before the $1000 Innovations credit, and all base rates.. $600/yr savings by making a $4550 refundable deposit.. Don't pass up the MSDs. (13.2% annual after-tax return on your MSDs).

Anyone know the Residual on a 2014 528i this month @ 10K miles.

Also, my dealer says there is a $995 Bank Fee on all leases? Is this true or are they padding?

.00129 and 61% for 36 months 10K miles per year on the 2014 528i. $1500 innovations credit also available this month.

Base acquisition fee is $725 - looks like your dealer is marking this up.

    Thoughts on this deal? S. CA. 2015 535i w/ M-Sport, etc., MSRP $65550

-Selling Price (including $1000 off for "Un4gettable Event")=$58465
-Additional reduction ($500 USAA member and $1000 Innovation Credit) brings capitalized cost to $56465 + $725 bank fee = $57190
    -36 months--10K miles per year--62% residual value--MF .000080 (w/ 7 MSDs)
-Drive offs = 7 Multiple security deposits totaling $4550 (refundable at lease end), $510 DMV, $580.53 first pmt and tax = $5640.53

    MONTHLY PAYMENT = $580.53

I get $538/mo.+tax.. so, if your tax is $42/mo., I'd say it's a great deal. Did you close on it, last month? New programs out today.

You are correct. Came to an agreement on these figures yesterday (for October lease terms) over email without mentioning a trade and then went in personally and tried to have them take back my 2012 loaded 535i with 13K miles w/ payoff of $38,800 and they balked even with me offering $1000 for them to take it (4 pmts left on lease). I see a new "Holiday Credit" of $2000 replacing the $1000 "innovation" credit for 2015 5-series. That would reduce pmt an additional $30. Any changes to MF or residuals for November? I am hoping for them to announce a new pull-ahead program in the coming weeks.

The money factor is .00130 for November and the incentive has indeed risen to $2000. I don't have the full slate of info this month (yet), but they are running a 39 month special on many models (including this one). The 39 month, 10K/yr residual is 61%.

Hi everyone, I am wondering if I am getting a good deal. I am trying to decide on a no thrills model 2015 528xi at MSRP 55,400 or a better suited at $59,100. The price difference is $540 vs $580 tax included. Both 36/10k $2500 out of pocket (according to dealer, this is just fees, which I find hard to believe.) Thanks in advance.

What state is this? The $2500 might also includes the up front sales tax.

What is the negotiated selling price?

The national specials this month for BMW are for 39 month lease terms.

    Hi

    2015 528i with Msport

Can you run the math for me using:
    RV 62%
    MF .0013 but with 7 Deposit .00081
    MSRP $56,800
    Selling price $51,700, and
    Drive-off (1st month, acq, title & registration) $1700.
    Tax is 8.75% here.

    Is this a good deal?

Im trying figure out what my monthly.

Have you see dealership add .00010 in MF so there no bank fee markup? Im not sure what the dealership trying to mean.

    Is this 39mo, 10K/yr? If so, I get a residual 61%, not 62%.

    Using 61%, I get $507/mo.+tax or about $552/mo. total.

No.... it's either a markup, or it isn't. They aren't required to markup the bank fee. So, if they markup the MF to make up for it, it's just an added cost to you.

Final deal signed today, different car than I previously posted.

2015 535i hard loaded w/ MSRP $69,250 (Blk/Blk, M Sport, premium package, multi contour seats, Harmon Kardon sound, side and rear window shades, driver assist and driver assist plus, heated seats, soft close doors). More than we necessarily needed but my mom is thrilled with the car as she previously had a 750i and missed some of those creature comforts on her previous 2012 535i, but does not miss getting the 7-series into and out of her garage.

Cap Cost including 2K "holiday" incentive and $725 bank fee = $62,245

    39 Months

    10K miles per year

Residual = 61% (will be less for 12K or 15K miles per year)

    MF = 0.00081 (w/ 7 MSDs)

Additional to offset drive off of $1500 ($500 USAA member, plus $1000 "un4gettable drive event" credit). These will not be available to everyone, obviously, but I was happy to take advantage of them.

Total drive off of $4675 which includes $4900 for 7 MSDs, 1st payment and tax, $80 doc fee and a few other tiny misc fees and taxes, as well as CA DMV (Keeping in mind the $4900 is refundable entirely at lease end, so this is basically less than $0 drive off with the extra $1500 detailed above).

Payment = $650.46 including 8% Orange County, CA sales tax. This deal required significant time and effort, so I hope it helps others. If following previous posts, I was able to sell the 2012 we were trying to trade previously on Autotrader.com within 24 hours for the payoff amount.

For those unaware of MSDs, it means "multiple security deposits." You are allowed up to 7 and each decreases the MF by 0.00007 (up to a 0.00049 reduction), which brings the MF from 0.00130 to 0.00081. If you have the money available, it is a smart call as you get a 13%+ annual return on that money given the payment reduction--if you are making more than that on the money you have lying around, call me.

Another offer So Cal Dealer offer on a 2014 550I
    MSRP-74,000
    SELLING-$66,236
    36 MONTHS
    61% RESIDUAL AT 10K MILES
    $5000 DUE AT SIGNING
    $659 + TAX

I'm thinking they should come $10K off of MSRP? Too much? Also per my
calculations, the break down of $5,000 due at signing is: $3,400 to
CAP Reduction and $1,600 Fees, license, tax and first months. Thoughts?

Another offer So Cal Dealer offer on a 2014 550I
    MSRP-74,000
    SELLING-$66,236
    36 MONTHS
    61% RESIDUAL AT 10K MILES
    $5000 DUE AT SIGNING
    $659 + TAX

I'm thinking they should come $10K off of MSRP? Too much? Also per my
calculations, the break down of $5,000 due at signing is: $3,400 to
CAP Reduction and $1,600 Fees, license, tax and first months. Thoughts?

You are probably better off using the up front cash as MSD to buy down the MF.

I know that I am missing a lot of information but here's what I have... Black/black 528xi. Cold weather, driver asst, m sport for an msrp of $61700

    39 month, 12k miles with 3500 down (tax,title, registration)

This is NYS (8% tax) and I was quoted a monthly lease of $595

    Thoughts?

    Thoughts on this deal? N. CA. 2015 535i w/ M-Sport, etc., MSRP $65300

-Selling Price (including $1000 off for "Un4gettable Event")=$57665
    -39 months--12K miles per year
-Drive offs = $6741 with 7 Multiple security deposits totaling $4550 (refundable at lease end),

    MONTHLY PAYMENT = $553 + tax

I get $552.42 pre-tax, so the numbers are pretty darn close to one another.

Would it be correct to assume that the rest of the $6741 drive off is to cover fees and such? No down payment?

I get $588.06 pre-tax, so your quote of $595 is pretty close if you are paying the tax up front.
