We do not recommend putting any money down on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.

    Confirm .00048 and 53% for 36/12.

I'm having a hard time understanding how $1500 out of pocket results in a higher payment than $0 out of pocket.

For scenario #1 ($0 out of pocket), using your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $516.60.

Where do you live? Tax obligations vary by state, so cannot comment on the $593/mo quote without knowing.

Thank you for the response. I appreciate it.

The numbers were actually a mistake. Here is the update.
    $0 DOWN
    593.20/mo

    $1500 DOWN
    549.29/mo

    $3,995 DOWN
    479.98/mo

I live in PA. I don't see why it would add that much more. I would assume I should be able to get in around $530 no money down then? It's a premium plus awd. Thanks again.

Is the residual the same for the premium plus model as with the prestige model? The dealers are saying that the premium plus model has a better residual than the prestige any reason why?

There is a 4% difference in the 36/15 residuals for the 2.0T Quattro Premium Plus versus the Prestige trim (49% v. 45%).

Higher trim cars often have a lower residual as the technology advances quickly and can be outdated by the time the lease is up.
