    Is this a joke? It's butt ugly. They literally made it the same but uglier. That rear roof line is terrible...looks like an egg.

    Saw that they used carbon fiber to cut at least some of that 700+ pounds. Wonder how much that's going to push the price north?

    Agree with phantogram. The Q7 was a reasonably elegant looking SUV. This new model looks like a cross between the Q7 and an old Subari Forrester. Blech. Who knows, maybe it looks better in person.

    New Q7 looks more of a facelift than an all new model. Except for tweaking the head & tail lights and yes the grill, nothing much has changed outside.

    I don't think that's accurate... the word is narrower, shorter and 700 lbs lighter. Can't lose that much weight with face lift..

    And 700 pounds is more significant than just being able to say, "We made it lighter".

    I doubt it's going to get 35 miles on a charge. Also, unless the GVW is over 6000 lbs, one will not be able to fully depreciate its price. So the Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid is still a better bet. If the Diesel engine is the 240 hp version and the electric power is 95 hp, then the total should be 335 hp, not 375 hp.

    I never understood the appeal of the Q7. It has all the reliability headaches of the Volkswagen Touareg wrapped up in an uglier, more expensive package. Perhaps it is the Audi cachet or 3rd row seating.

    It will be interesting to see how this lackluster redesign sells.
