57% and .00146. Individual packages do not affect the residual.

For Texas, what is the MF and Residual for 2015 QX60 AWD Premium Plus 36mo/12k and 36mo/15k? Thanks in advance

Also, if anyone knows what fees will be included in a lease in Texas other than sales tax (i.e. acquisition, dealer, government, etc)

I have always purchased cars outright and trying to figure out my first lease.

    55% and .00146 for 36/15. Add 2% for 12K per year.

There is an IFS acquisition fee of $700, then there may be dealer and DMV related fees.

With your MSRP and net cap cost, I'm showing a payment of $714.70/mo for 36 months. Texas taxes kill you on a lease, but I suspect the dealer is marking up the MF on you as well.

What about the MF and Residual for a 2014 QX60 AWD Premium Plus 36 Mo / 12k

A dealer still has a bunch of 2014's and are offering deals.

Salesman was offering ~$3500 off MSRP on 2015's and $8000 off MSRP on the same 2014. Other than a lower Residual on the lease, I haven't seen any differences on the 2015's.

    Anyone with thoughts?

    Is this correct?

I'm thinking about ditching my Toaureg for the QX60 but I have 7 payments left. Does Infiniti have any sort of incentives they extend the dealer to assume a few lease payments to get people away from another brand? The only reason I ask is that when I swapped my Audi Q5 for the Toaureg, they were able to assume 3 lease payments and it didn't affect the deal at all. I'm assuming it was because they were probably going to make great money off the sale of my Q5, but the way they worded it sounded like VW was helping them out.

Generally speaking, your current car has both a defined payoff and a specific trade value to the dealer. Dealers love to talk about "making the last xxx payments" when in reality they are lowballing the trade value - you could be less upside down than you think.

Call VW for the payoff on your Toaureg .... and, head over to "real world trade in values" discussion to see what it's worth.

All that said, I'm not aware of any program that subsidizes future lease payments for non-Infiniti leases. Occasionally, there will be a 'pull ahead' program for the same make.

So, on this vehicle, how are they coming to that discount? With .00024 MF and 54% residual, I'm showing a payment right at $499-500 if they lease it to me for that price, 8.75% tax. From the "What's my car worth" forum, someone said my trade should be ~ 25k and I basically owe around 24k (residual + 7 payments).

Am I factoring everything in correctly and I can make this deal work?

    I think I screwed up... I was using 36 months at 39 months I get 458.56. I hope I'm doing this right.

Do I have to pay any sort of acquisition fee that I'm not factoring in? I'd like to just roll that in if I can and walk away with only paying first month payment (and any registration fees).

    Monthly Payment $421.66 + 36.90 tax.

    MSRP 54525
    Cap cost 45190
    Residual (54%) 29444
    Money Factor 0.00024
    Term 39 Month
    Sales Tax 8.75%

My numbers work out the same as yours ... there is an acquisition fee of $700 for Infiniti which is usually due at lease signing. If you want to add that into the cap cost, there is a bump in the money factor to do so.

At signing, the first payment, acquisition fee, dealer fee and any license or registration fees are due. You may be able to use the trade equity to offset some of these costs.

Thanks. Any chance that they are going to tell me that they can't give me that discount on a lease? When I leased my Toaureg, I had to lease it to get the additional 5250 below invoice price.

Any idea how much the money factor goes up if i roll in the $700? What is the dealer fee?

I don't have the information about the MF adjustment for the acquisition fee. The dealer fee is imposed by the dealer, ostensibly to cover overhead. I would adjust the selling price to offset that amount.

I don't see any lease cash on the Infiniti's - there is $500 retail cash, but it's not clear if this can be applied to a lease.

VW has always had lease cash available - lots on the Toaureg. This was to help move the metal. Infinitis are a bit more popular and don't need as much help.

Thanks man, I really appreciate your expertise and time. I love this site for that reason and it's saved me a lot of time and headaches. So based on their advertised eprice, I'm sure I can get it for that then since there isn't any significant cash incentives, except maybe the $500.

It didn't work out. They said they can't give me that advertised price of 45190 because there's a 6000 incentive on purchase and only a 3000 incentive on lease. I don't know if they were being truthful. Then they tried to quadruple the money factor on me and were going to give me 24k on my trade with a payoff of 26576. So, even if I factored in the Negative Equity on the trade at their number of 24,000, which I think it's worth at least 24,500 if not 25,000, I get the following:

    MSRP 54525
Adjusted Cap Cost 47876 (45190 + 2576 + 100) price plus negative equity, plus $100 for their bogus doc fees
    Residual 29444
    .00024 MF
    39 Months/10k
    8.75% Tax

I get a payment of $534.15 and they were at $639 or something, so I walked.

I told them that if they want to give me their car because it's last years model and I'm a new customer to Infiniti and their dealership, and they will make a few bucks on my trade hopefully, maybe make a few hundred on the car when all is said and done at the end of the year with Infiniti, make money servicing the car and then in 39 months (my kids are out of daycare, 2k a month) my wife really wants the QX80 and she always gets what she wants, lol

    Any comments?

I get the same numbers you did ($534.xx), so not sure what else this dealer was adding into the deal. Almost $4100 difference in cap cost.

It is quite possible that the incentives for leasing are different than those for a purchase.

Perhaps a different Infiniti dealer will be more accommodating?

I finally came to a deal with them last night. I paid them 3000 more for their car, they paid me 1000 more for mine. They said that they can only use a 3000 credit instead of the 6000 they had on the advertised price because Infiniti only gives them 3000 on a lease and 6000 on a purchase. I don't know if that's true but it makes sense since I'm only financing half the car.

Of course my payment was slightly less than theirs, so I know they are padding it a few bucks but it's not worth my time arguing over it etc...

Thanks a lot to this forum for providing some sanity and truth. I really don't know of another site where people can get this information so easily.

I have leased 6 Infinitis, there is no bump in money factor to roll the acq fee into the lease. You also do not have to pay all of those fees upfront. You can roll them into the lease as well. I drive off with zero out of pocket on my leases.

Any update yet on the March numbers? We're going to take a look at the QX60 in addition to a few other cars this weekend.

We got 'em ... FWD or AWD? Lease term and miles per year?

    Hi ,

(sorry for typo on horrible cell phone)

I was given an offer for an Infiniti qx60 39 months lease and I was hoping someone could could advise me if I was getting a good deal or not. Also I was hoping someone could explain to me how I could lower my lease payments by putting down a bigger security deposit(not sure if I made that up or heard it from someone )

Here are the details of the offer

    QX60 with navigation

Amount due at signing is $1,879.02 (goes up a tad due to monthly payment)Monthly payment is $496 (only a $30 jump with nav)This has auto start as well.Retail Price - $49,550Sales Price for you - $43,850Keeping that same $5,700 in savings for you. Btw taxes for NJ are part of the lease

    Other offer

    QX60 without navigation

    2015 QX60
    39 month lease - $466 per month
    No UpFront Taxes
Amount Due at Signing - $1,849.50
    To break that number down:
    Doc Fee - $134
    Acquisition Fee - $700
Government Fee - $550 (on previous paper, your government fees were $116.15 and that was because it was written up as a PA resident and not as a New Jersey resident. That is why that number jumped.)
    First payment - $466

We also have to roll the payoff of $1,368 into account here since we are well below invoice. (this is what is left on my current lease)

    Retail Price - $47,200
    Sales Price - $41,500

    Thanks in advance

$500/mo. including tax with $1900 upfront.... and, that includes $1368 negative equity?

That seems reasonable for a $49K vehicle

Yes, the Infiniti MSD program is very generous.

You can make up to 9 security deposits, and each one lowers the money factor by .0001.
If you make 9 deposits, you can take the MF from .00121 down to .00031. That would probably save you $60-$75/mo.

#2 - we don't recommend making a down payment on a lease, and using MSDs is a good way to lower your payment and get that money back at the end.

What is the payment under scenario 1 without any down payment?

Gabelifs, when you finalize your deal, would you mind sharing which dealer this was? I'm on Long Island and just started looking at this. Haven't gotten to more than 1 dealer, but I think the selling price on a similar car was still higher than that. Thanks.

G8 check out Circle Infiniti too from West Long Branch, NJ - it's where I bought my QX60 a month ago and received a good deal. Ask for Don Lotano.

Thanks guys. I definitely need to do NJ or PA to take advantage of the MSD's. They're evidently not allowed in NY State.
