1) Can I do better than the national promotion for the 2015 RDX AWD without Tech, detail below?
2) What would be the NY tax (8.875%) on this vehicle? Using MF .00111, I calculated 1,195 tax?
3) What is the money factor on this vehicle?

MSRP - 37,415
Net Cap Cost - 34,715 includes $595 acquisition fee
Residual - 23,571

Down Payment - 1,999
Monthly Payment - 369
Months/Miles - 36/10

I would like to use this to help in my negotiation and structure a no money down deal.

1) Most advertised deals leave a little room to do better. However, don't be surprised if your offer from the dealer is a lot worse.

2) I'm not really up on NYS tax.. but, if you add the payments plus the downpayment multiplied by the tax rate, you'll come pretty close (around $1350).

3) In NY, the money factor is .00102

Removing the $1999 down will raise the payment by about $58/mo.

.00102 MF and 60% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr.

Yes, the residual is fixed by Acura Financial. Also, Acura dealers are not known for marking up the money factor, but it doesn't hurt to check on it.

So, what's the advantage of knowing these numbers before going to the dealer? You can calculate a lease payment, given your target selling price, and that way you'll know if you are getting a good deal, when they start throwing out the numbers.

Also the disposition fee, acquisition fee etc.. How do we negotiate on those? I am new to leasing so do pardon my basic questions.

Add 2% to the residual for 12K.

Acquisition fee and disposition fee cannot be negotiated.

39 month residuals are 2% lower, but I don't know for sure that you can get that same discounted money factor.

Acura numbers are national.

Residual is based off of the bottom line of the window sticker (MSRP + destination).
