Do you know why there is such a big difference in residual value (61% vs 57% for 36m/10k) between 2015 GTI and 2015 Golf?
Or is that 57% for the 2014 Golf?

Nope, it's a (highly) educated guess on the part of VW Finance as to what they believe the value will be at the end of the lease.

Love my 2015 Golf TSI, besides a small tire issue, absolutely love it! Hated the stock alloys so they swapped out the ones from the TDI and it looks even better! Blue over beige.

I'm not certain that VW offers leases with 7.5K miles per year, but if they did, the numbers for the TSI SE would be .00060 and 54%. $750 lease cash.

I need some help coming up with a 'realistic' number I can keep in my back pocket when talking to dealers. For a 2015 VW Golf SE, no options. 12K/36mos I am coming up with about $350/mo. This is with the April MF/Residual, Base Cap Cost of $23,866 (Edmunds TMV), 7% sales tax and $0 -- does this sound right?

Just got off the phone with a really aggressive dealer who balked when I said I want to be in the $300-350/mo range. Am I crazy here?

MSRP is 25,715 incl. destination. Edmund's TMV is showing me $23,866 incl. destination -- this is what I am using for Base Cap Cost in my calculations. Not sure how to figure in April's $750 VW lease cash either?

With the numbers I mention above I get $349.17 incl the 7% tax.

I get $332 with tax. I suspect the lease cash is built into the TMV price.
