Chev Traverse skid Control SAFETY Problem

Like much discussion on here, I too had skid control warnings and POWER down while on the interstate...all on my trip from IN to FL. Now stuck without a car while the chev dealer tries to figure what to do??

    Glad the newer vehicles have the reduced power message that lets you pul over instead of just shutting engine off when the potentaily engine damaging Check Engine ligh/code happens , shutting off could really be dangerous.

    Didn't have stability control for my first 44 years of driving, so not haven't it for a while isn't a big deal to me.
