I'm being told its 60% and .00043 by the dealer. How do I know whats really going on here?

Toyota numbers are highly regional, which is why I wasn't sure when I quoted the .00025 MF. The difference is negligible - .60% APR vs 1.03% APR

Also, Toyota manages their residuals differently from any other manufacturer - they don't residualize all their options, so it's quite possible that 60% could be correct based on what's been added to the car.

I wish I could be more specific but Toyota makes it hard to understand leases - unlike, say, Honda, where it's very cut and dried.

Hello, I'm in the process of negotiating a deal on a Camry XLE. The dealer is asking that I fill out the online credit application in order to receive more specific information on the lease. I felt the hypothetical lease payments were high based on what I know about the MF & RV here in NC. Is there any reason I should not fill out the online credit app?

If the dealer won't release the information without the credit app, it may be time to reach out to a new Toyota dealer. Plenty to choose from.

Hi, I have a lease deal on the table that I'm attempting to negotiate. Here are the particulars:
2015 Camry XLE in NC, 36/12
Selling Price $24,500
DOC Fee $469
Acquisition Fee $995
License Fee $28
Total cost of $25,495
The MSRP is $27,922 w/ RV of .61 making the residual amount $17,032.42. The MF the dealer is using is .00220. Making monthly payments total $338.49. I initially negotiated the "out the door" price down to $23,000 however now the dealer is saying they can't include dealer incentive cash because it's a deal to lease & not to purchase. Is that true? I can also see that they are not using Toyota to finance the deal. Can I ask for that to change? What else can I ask for to get this to a monthly payment that I am comfortable with? Thanks!

Can you please provide the Money Factor and Residual Values for 12K miles/year for each trim level? Residual values are good until 3/31 ... 63% for 36/12 on the LE; 64% for 36/12 on the SE

Money factor on Toyotas expire today (3/2/15) ... they are highly regional and I'm seeing anything between .00020 and .00083.

Can someone give me advice on a deal:

New Jersey - 2015 Camry SE 4-Cyl

Sell price is $22,000 even. If I pay all fees up front (acquisition, DMV) then the payment is $185 per month including tax (7% here).

Thoughts?

What is the MSRP? What lease term and how many miles per year?

It looks good, but until we know the details, it's hard to fully quantify.

Lease payments are made up of two components. Depreciation and Finance. The $8.17 is the finance charge.. In effect you are borrowing $22K for about $8/mo...

Toyota lease numbers are highly regional -- and we don't have complete information. I've seen the .00040 as well.

Regarding residuals, the number I've got is for the base MSRP - if you add options, then the residual changes. Most dealers have to look up the specific residual by VIN number.

Makes leasing a Toyota a very difficult proposition.
