    I like my seat to be fairly upright, too. But I don't think it's all that weird -- what's weird is how many drivers recline their seat *really* far back. Nice for lounging, bad for any kind of responsive driving (and therefore less safe, IMO).

    Well, you don't want it so upright that you don't have the minimum recommended space between the airbag and your chest (or face...), either. If there is not at least a foot between your chest and the steering wheel hub at the closest point, you are asking for trouble. If you are short enough in the torso that the hub points at your face, you need even more space than that.

    Are the base plaid seats as supportive and comfortable as the optional leather seats?
