Audi does have an MSD program, but I don't know the specifics (.00007 sounds like BMW's program).

.00079 MF and 56% residual for Premium Plus model. 53% for Prestige

Generally, it's monthly... if there is any mid-month update, it's usually cash incentives.

Recommended sweetspot term wise for 12000 miles/yr on Prem Plus? 36, 39, 42? If 39 or 42 Residual and MF much appreciated.

I like the 36 month term...but, 42 months is .00099 MF and 52% residual. That might give a slightly lower payment.

Audi care is sold at the dealer cost, and adds 10-15 bucks more a month to the payment. Go for it. The first and second service cost as much as audi care. And you can pro-rate a refund if you trade out before your 45k service.

I am looking at a '15 S4. Here are details. Something is not adding up. Seems about $100 per month high.

MSRP--$59,155
Negotiated price--$55,966.10
36 months
7500 miles/year
2000 down to cover first month's lease, "fees", cap reduction cost.
Money Factor is .00079
Residual is 58%.
tax is 9.8%

Monthly payment per dealer is $753.08

Thoughts?

That's the base money factor and the correct residual.

I get $673/mo.+tax, or about $739/mo. So, just $14/mo. difference.. (if the CAP cost is the same as the sale price). How much of your $2000 is going to CAP reduction?

Hard to say ... what is the MSRP and the net cap cost?

42 / 7500 numbers are .00099 and 54%.

If you ask, they should provide it to you ... note that this is not the same as the agreed upon selling price. Net cap cost includes any taxes and fees added into the lease that you are not paying up front.

Me thinks the net cap cost is higher than the selling price they've given you - with those numbers, I'm showing $618.06/mo pre-tax, $663.64/mo after.

They could be rolling in those last two payments, for starters. Ask the dealer for the net cap cost and make sure you understand how they got to that number from the selling price quoted.

With your numbers, I'm showing a payment of $627.07/mo. I assume taxes are included in the cap cost?

Great Comments & Forum guys, I am also considering a 2015 prem plus S4, I have a build price of $55,100 what is expected sale price? I am thinking they could let it go for $52,900? With a MF of .00079 and residual of 57% for 12k year 36 month lease. Is this a good deal or should I expect the dealer to have a lot of heartburn about this?

Also, whats the best lease calculator out there? I am currently using the auto lease calculator dot com. seems pretty legit.

You have the MF right, but the 36/12 residual is 56%.

Can't help you with the selling price - read back a few pages in this thread to see what type of discounts others have been getting.

I built my own lease calculator in a spreadsheet.

dealerships are not budging, it may be the wrong time of year / month to lease cars, what are everyones thoughts on this? is my approach just off? most dealers around here are holding on to their MF pretty tightly... no one is budging below .0021 ish 900 payment per month at 55525 msrp - 1562 disc 12k yr / 36 month lease

Could be a simple supply / demand issues - not enough supply and too much demand equals higher prices and rates.

Audi dealers are allowed to inflate the MF by .00125 over the base rate. So, .00200 from .00079 is allowed - gouging, in my mind, but allowed.

You might want to expand your search of Audi dealers - all it takes is one dealer to agree to your terms.

No, that is the base rate for leases longer than 36 months ... Audi would rather you lease for 36 months or less to get the lower MF.

Add 1% to go from 12K to 10K

Sales tax is capped in South Carolina at $300 max. Here is the window sticker.

$534/mo 36 mo/10k miles - 2975 cash at close which includes first months payment and $300 sales tax. Received $1,000 conquest rebate and first months payment rebate of $534.

Not sure if it is just CA but I was able to negotiate $500 back of invoice at one dealer and another beat it at $1000 back of invoice. My deal ended up as follows: 2015 Prem + S4, S Tronic with an MSRP of $59,320, Adjusted Cap Cost (Selling Price) of $55,188. Total drive off of $2,500. 36 Month Lease with 10,000 miles, 57% Residual, .00079 MF, total payment with tax: $688. I am very happy with my deal. The buy out at Lease end is $33,812! Work the dealer with the most inventory over!
