Hi, could you also provide the MF and RV values for a 36m/10k lease? I'm looking at the AWD-Base, AWD w Tech and FWD w Tech models. I live in NY. I assume the $1000 lease cash applied to any lease? Thank you

I am confused now. kyfdx replied with .00051 and 61% for 36/12 on the AWD base. $1000 lease cash for 36m/12k, but you're showing same MF for 36m/10k as well.

Acura website has current specials for 36m/10K with MF of 0.00011 and residuals
FWD Base - 62%, $370/mo for 35 mos, no down
FWD Tech - 59%, $410/mo for 35 mos, no down

What changes when you increase mileage? Does the residual go down or MF also change?

The only number that changes with the mileage is the residual value. The numbers provided by Acura are for 15,000 miles per year. Add 2% to that number for 12,000 miles and 3% for 10,000 miles.

Money factor is the same regardless of miles.

They don't quote MF but I was able to calculate that from residual, cap cost, acq fee and payment. I've also seen MF of 0.00011 quoted earlier in this thread. Did it recently change?

So if residuals are 59% for 10K, it should be 1% less for 12K or 2%?

Interesting, I get $416/mo before tax. However, if I use the $0 up front MF of .00041 I get the $410 number.

Wait, MF is different based on up front cap cost reduction? Why would MF for $0 down be lower than MF for say, 1K down?

Reason I ask is I just got this quote from a local dealer for RDX AWD w/Tech.

    Selling Price $36,500.00
With $3,000 total out of pocket
35 months at 12,000 miles per year = $343 plus tax ($373 includes tax)
    Residual Value $ 23,846.70

The residual value is 58% of MSRP and the money factor is at it's best right now at .00051.

Selling price looks really good based on invoice of $38602. But I don't want to make any up front payment besides first month, title+license and possibly acq fee. So for say, $1300 in down payment, will MF be 0.00051 or 0.00041? I would also like to add a trailer hitch, cargo mats and wheel locks. How much should I expect to add to price for those 3 options?

BTW, when I plug these numbers, I only get $353 including tax and that's after adding acquisition fee of $595 and cap cost reduction of $2,627, so not sure what else is getting added by dealer

There are two MF's for Acura - the "regular" one (.00051) and the $0 due at signing one (.00041). $0 due at signing rolls all your up front costs into the lease - acquisition fee, first payment, etc. so your cap cost is higher. So, if you planning to come up with cash due at signing, you'll get the higher MF.

That said, $373/mo is a pretty good payment; are you really getting $2K back of invoice?

That's the offer from the dealer verbatim. I would be pissed if it's a bait-and-switch as dealer is an hour's drive. Edmunds shows a $1500 cash incentive so could that be why it's less than invoice?

The total of payments is around $16k. How much can I expect with zero down? How much would cap cost increase?

    Thanks!

I need some assistance with lease numbers. I think the dealer is trying to rip me off. I have a lease quote for NY with $1395 out of pocket 36 month /10k miles on a 2015 RDX AWD. The monthly payment is $368. They also gave me a quote for $470 for the AWD w/ Technology. Can you please tell me if that's a good deal or do I need to renegotiate?

How is the cash incentive applied? Is it the same as lease cash? Rdx with tech had $1500 incentive so should I assume it's been used to reduce selling price already?

It's a dealer incentive... they will include it in their offer. Since you know about it, you can hold out for a better price.

After a bit of negotiation, I was able to walk out with an RDX AWD w/Tech package for $36,800 inclusive of Protection pkg II and Rear seat cover (msrp - $725). Cap cost inclusive of acq fee, first month and vcp was $38K. MF of 0.00041 and 58% residual for 3yr/36k miles.

Thanks kydfx and Michaell for clearing my doubts and helping be well prepared. Knowledge is 80% of the negotiation

.00051 MF and 62% residual for AWD and 59% residual for AWD with Tech.

Using your numbers, I get a pre-tax payment of $317.93 for the base and $379.59 for the Tech.

Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is and how they arrived at that number from the selling prices. Also ask for the full breakdown of the $1395 due at signing.

No mention of the selling price or CAP cost?

The money factor and residual are correct.

Ah.. I see the selling price at the top.. $35,105?

I get the same payment...(within pennies)

Looks like a pretty good deal.

    Hi,
I looked through previous posts and I'm confused on the MF and residuals in NJ.
Can somebody get me the MF, RV, and incentives on the RDX for 36/12k, 39/12k and 36/10k, 39/10k
I am interested in the AWD
    Thanks!

    Acura numbers are national ....

    .00051 MF

    RDX AWD 36/12 - 61%

    RDX AWD 39/12 - 59%

Add 1% for 10K miles per year. Subtract 3% if you want the Tech package.

Thanks to Michaell, I am the proud owner of a 2015 RDX AWD with a monthly payment of $324. I took your advice and even got them to throw in the cargo cover...

What did you put down? Was it $1300 and did it include the first month's payment?

I got the following quote from a local dealer in NC:

2015 Acura RDX AWD w/ tech package
    MSRP: 41,115
    OTD: 38,602
    Doc Fee: 649
    Tags & Title: 81
Maintenance Package: 391,95 (6 oil changes & tire rotations)
    Nitro: 248
    Term Care: 14.99
    Total: 39,986
    NC Tax: %4.75
    36 months, 10k per year

    $2,000.00 down
    Montly payment including tax: $504.44

Comparing the other offers here, this is really high. What should I expect?

Using your MSRP and Net cap cost, along with the .00051 MF and 36/10 MF of 57% for the AWD with Tech, I get a pre-tax payment of $492.08.

What is the breakdown of the $2000 due at signing?

The maintenance package and nitro are severly overpriced - see if you can eliminate them, or reduce the price of them. Doc Fee of $649 is also high, but may be in line with what you expect in NC.

Nitro (they said this is mandatory): 248
    OTD: 38,102
$2,000 due at signing (they didn't tell the breakdown)
    36 mo, 10k

    $430.28/mo (incl tax)

I feel I can still get little bit more, around $400/mo. What do you think?
    Thanks!

    Is this a good deal?

2015 Acura RDX w/Techno Package - 12K miles per year

MSRP - Not Given (but for the given RV to work it would have to be $39,689.65)
    Agreed upon value- $35,495
Residual value is 58% of the MSRP which come out to $23,020 is what you would pay at the end of the lease if you decided to purchase it.
TEXAS Taxes: 6.25 ($2,218.44 based upon AUP)
and dealer fees is $125 (I know he's misguiding me there, because there's just no way - so I approximated the Real Dealer fees as $700 to incl ACQ Fee)

Quoting: $459/mo w/only the first month due at signing. The $459 includes rolling in the taxes, dealer fees, etc.

Need to know the breakdown of the $2K - specifically, if any of that is going to cap cost reduction (down payment).

Nitro is certainly not "mandatory" - except perhaps at that dealer. Might want to reach out to a second dealer and get them to compete against one another.

On a 36 month lease, every $1000 you shave off the net cap cost results in about $28/mo less on the monthly payment.

What is the net cap cost? If they are rolling the entire tax amount into it your payment seems about right. Leasing in Texas is expensive due to the tax obligations...

I would imagine the Net Cap Cost is $38,425 - that amount includes TX taxes $2,218, Acq Fee $595 + Dealer Fee $125 (total $2,938).

I did the figures based upon Acura's current lease deal ($410 w/$0 down), and based upon that I calculated that this dealer reduced the AUP by $1,427.40.

There's nowhere for the dealer to try to hide anything in the Net Cap Cost, because the calculations do reflect the bulk of the fees, which are taxes.

Therefore, speaking solely of the Agreed Upon Price ($35,495), is that a good price for this model? Has anyone gotten it down lower than that?

I confirm the MF for each ...

    $24 x 36 = $864 extra for $0 down .. you save $136. Hard to go wrong with that.

Hi. Do we know what the new lease numbers are for April yet for a 2015 RDX AWD (no tech) for 36 months. 12 and 15k miles per year?

Also is this better, worse or the same as March?

    Thanks in advance,
