Why is the apr so high on this car? If I am doing my math right it is 4.15%. Can you also give MF & Res for 12k/YR & 36 months?

Add 2% to the 36 month residuals for 12K miles per year.

Popular car + limited availability = higher money factor.

Looking at leasing a Scat Pack for 36, 42, or 48 months @ 10K. Any idea what the MF and RV are? One of my local Dodge dealerships said the best they can offer is .003125... which sounds absurd.

Standard money factor and 66%/62% for 36/42 months, 10K/yr.

The standard money factor should be around .0020, if using Chrysler Capital... with a maximum markup of .00042. With that money factor, they are probably using a different bank. Either way, they aren't real interested in saving you any money..

Deals on hot cars tend to go that way...

Standard money factor and 50% residual.

Don't have the exact number for Chrysler Capital's standard money factor, but it's likely .0018-.0020 range

Need help. I'm looking to lease a 2015 Challenger SRT. 36/15000 in Atlanta, GA. What should the MF and residual be?

I sat down with 2 dealers today and the monthly payment they quoted was much higher than I thought it should be. Here is what I was quoted:

    MSRP: $50,375
    Dealer rebate: $1000
    Sell Price: $49,375
    Trade: $5000
    ETR service fee: $160
    Security Deposit: $775
    Advanced Payments: $759.32

    Monthly Payment: $759.00

What am I missing? Good deal or turn and run? Thanks

You are paying MSRP for the car? Does an SRT bring sticker price?

Also, GA sales tax is on the full purchase price of the vehicle.

I'm sorry, I gave you incorrect information. The quote above was for a 36/12000 lease.

In checking with multiple local dealers, the SRT's are selling very near MSRP. As you see, this particular dealer is only offering 1000 off MSRP. Invoice on the car was $48,800. Give or take a few. My deal is with trading in my car which is paid for. My credit score is over 800 so I couldn't figure out why my payment is so high.

I also emailed the salesman after I left and asked for the MF. I just checked my email and he gave me .00266 with a residual amount of $31,232.50. The total cap reduction is $3465.68.

Based on the numbers is that monthly payment accurate? What am I missing? I appreciate your help with this.

    Thanks

    Let's walk through the math:

    MSRP - $50,375
    Negotiated Price - $49,375
    Less $3466 trade credit - $45,909
6.25% "ad valorem" tax in GA on entire purchase price - $2869
    Net Cap cost - $48,778
    MF - .00266
    36/12 residual - 62%

Plugging those numbers into my lease calculator gives a monthly payment of $700.20.

    36/12 residual - 62%

Plugging those numbers into my lease calculator gives a monthly payment of $700.20.
Ok, now I'm really confused. You say trade credit is $3466 but they told me they're giving me $5000 for my trade. If you're coming up with $700 how are they giving me $759?

Need help. I'm looking to lease a 2015 Challenger SRT. 36/15000 in Atlanta, GA. What should the MF and residual be?

I sat down with 2 dealers today and the monthly payment they quoted was much higher than I thought it should be. Here is what I was quoted:

    MSRP: $50,375
    Dealer rebate: $1000
    Sell Price: $49,375
    Trade: $5000
    ETR service fee: $160
    Security Deposit: $775
    Advanced Payments: $759.32

    Monthly Payment: $759.00

What am I missing? Good deal or turn and run? Thanks

    Standard MF and 60% residual.

The remainder of the trade equity is probably being used to cover the upfont costs like the acquisition fee.

You'd have to ask the dealer why they get $759 ... I use a home-built lease calculator and plugged in the relevant numbers. I suspect the net cap cost is different from what I am using. You'll need to find out why that is.

Simply showing me $5000 but not actually giving me that much. Gotcha. Thank you so much. You've been very helpful. Seems like the dealer is a little shady and not being completely honest about what I'm paying for.

Ask them to show you their math. If you continue to feel that the dealer isn't being open, reach out to another dealer. It only takes one to make a deal - and the competition should help you get a better deal.

I think I'll move on from this dealer. Just seems like they're hiding 3-4 grand somewhere in the deal.
