Can you provide lease factors for 2015 Audi A4 premium Quattro (manual and automatic, if different) in southwest Florida (ZIP 33901) for 7,500/36 months and 10,000/36 months? Thank you!

Local SWFL Audi dealerships offering the following special for 2015 Audi A4 premium Quattro with automatic & heated seats, MSRP $37,825: 2015 Audi A4 2.0T quattro Premium Special Lease: $339 a month*, 36 months, With $0 Security Deposit, $2,795 Down Payment & $695 Acquisition Fee, $339 per month for 36 months, $3,829 cash due at signing.

Would like to see if I can negotiate the lease down by factoring in manual instead of automatic, and 7,500/yr instead of 10,000. Appreciate the help with lease factors!

No difference in the lease numbers for either transmission.

    .00029 and 55% for 36/10. Add 1% for 7500 miles per year.

You should be able to do better than the regional lease deal if you negotiate wisely - should be able to get 5-7% off sticker. And, we don't recommend putting any money down on a lease. If the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Michaell, thank you for the lease factors! And, no, I never put money down on a lease... except for the acquisition fee... I've once been told the money factor increases if the acquisition fee is rolled into the lease payments instead of paid up front. Not sure if this is true or not!

Yes, it is usually true that there is a bump in the MF if you "waive" the acquisition fee

The residual should be based on the msrp correct? If I am looking at a car that stickers for $40,230 on a 36/10 with a 53% residual the figure should be $20919.60? I cant get the number to work out using the calculator...

Yes, residual is based on MSRP plus destination ... the bottom line of the window sticker.

Here is the quote I got total cap cost of $36,638.33 before a $1750.00 rebate brings it down to $34888.33. I was told by the dealer the residual for 36/12 was 53% or $21001.25 (MSRP $59625) and the MF being used was .00030.

When I input this into the lease calculator I get a payment of $415, the dealer is telling me the payment is $476. Am I using the calculator incorrectly?

Is there a typo in your numbers? Your cap cost is $25,000 less than the MSRP?

Okay here is the latest quote on a 2015 A4 quattro 36\12

Total selling price of the vehicle pre-tax is 39576.47 (MSRP 44300). This include everything other than the $695 acq fee.

With 0 out of pocket I am being quoted $562 per month taxes included, tax in NC is 3% of selling price which is $38705 so tax is $1161.15. Using the calculator I get a payment of $546. Does this math seem correct?

A4 2.0T Quattro Premium Plus, right?

    .00029 MF and 52% residual.

Adding in the acq.fee, tax and 1st payment ($0 out of pocket), I get $546/mo.

Might be missing a few hundred dollars for title/registration or dealer fees..

If you are considering an A4 with manual transmission then you may want to know this. Our 2012 A4 had the clutch go at 10k miles. Audi claims it is a wear and tear item, cost to repair was $2300 (Cdn).

The dealer realized this was ridiculous and discounted parts 50% and labor 10% to make the bill $1600.

After writing to the president of Audi Canada they offered $500 if I wouldn't take them to small claims court or arbitration.

I took it to bring the bill down to $1100, because I don't want to fill out forms or spend the time preparing my case.

Lots of mechanics told me it is almost impossible to wear out a clutch in 10k miles...it should last 150k miles.

My wife has driven 100000 miles in manual transmission cars with no problems. Was it the car or wear and tear?

We love driving the car, it is the most fun car you can possibly drive. We'll keep it until the warranty is over in 2 more years, but then doubtful if we will ever buy another Audi/VW product.

Just something to think about. ;)

Yeah.. that's really BS... Unless you were teaching a teenager to drive... shewww...

My son's friend burned up a clutch in 2000 miles... But, he was 16 years old and it was a new Camaro.. :p

I am sure I would have won if I took it to arbitration. But, it would have cost me a lot of time and I would have had to fill out forms and get witnesses etc., plus be their at their convenience.

I have to look at it as a $300 a year premium to drive a nice driving machine, if nothing else goes wrong that they can blame me for over the next 2 years.

From what I have been told by experts, it would almost be impossible to blow out a clutch in 10k miles unless you were totally incompetent, so that 16 year old kid deserves some kind of prize. That kid should only be driving an automatic!

    36/12 numbers:

    Quattro - .00038 and 51%

    Add 1% for 10K.

39 month leases have a MF that is .0002 higher and a residual that is 2% lower. 36 months is usually the sweet spot for Audi.

Can you help me figure out if this deal is correct
    2015 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Prem,
    MSRP 40,300
    Cap Cost 35,230,83
    36/12
    0 down, tax upfront NY
    payment $410- Good?

    Thanks

I'm getting $407/mo, so pretty close to your quote.
Do Audi offer 39 month leases and are the MF and residual the same for 36/12? Thanks
39 month leases have a MF that is .0002 higher and a residual that is 2% lower. 36 months is usually the sweet spot for Audi.
Oh- I see big difference I will stick with 36/12. Thanks

Hi, I was at the dealership today looking to lease an A4 premium FWD in south Florida. MSRP $37,050.
They are using the base MF of 0.00004 and residual of 54% for 36/7500k.

I have not negotiated final selling price, but I was thinking if I put around $1000 (nothing else) at signing and if my monthly works out to be about $450/month including tax, is that a good deal on this car? I am not sure how to add the acquisition, tax title fees I know they add up to about 2300-2400 (695 + 798 +...) from what he showed me.

Would appreciate any help or advice! thank you

The MF and residual are correct, but without knowing a final selling price or cap cost, we can't really model a payment.

Make sure you understand all the fees that are going into the deal, and what the up front cash will cover.

Thank you very much for your response.

It is a bit complicated as I am trading in my lease with them now, early Audi A5. It had just recently been in an accident and there is about 7-8k of negative equity.

I just called the salesman to ask for the cap cost they had initially wanted to give me which is about 41,000. Made payments high around 560 based on about 1850 down. However he just told me they will absorb more of that negative equity and try to get it to 450/month with 1000 down. I asked him what fees there were he said 695 acquisition, 798 dealer fee, 250-300 government and then just tax 6%.

Is there a way to find out what the cap cost would be working backwards with those numbers? 1000 down, 450/month.

Or could you tell me how much my monthly would work out to if my selling price/cap cost was 37,050? with 0.00004 and 54% 36/7500. with the 695 acquisition, 798 dealer fee, 250-300 government and tax 6%.

Just so I have an idea going in tomorrow what I should shoot for...

    Greatly appreciate the advice!

If the CAP cost is the same as the MSRP, then the payment would be about $475/mo.+tax.. That's with any other costs paid upfront

    Great thanks.

Does this add up about right then:

    Cap cost = $34,500
    mf = 0.00004
    Residual = 54%

Monthly about $435/month tax included. All other fees and costs paid at signing.

Last thing, is it reasonable to expect up to 7% off MSRP?

    Thanks again.

I get $405/mo+tax, so should be pretty close..

6% off MSRP is supplier pricing... Subtract any special incentives from that.. about the best you can do.

.00004 MF and 53%/54% residual for 36 months

.00024 MF and 51%/53% residual for 39 months.

Those numbers are good through May 4th.
