Hey - looking to lease either a 2014 or 2015 Touareg TDI LUX or Exec and looking for residual value and current money factors on both model years. 39 Months / 10k miles per year.

About the residual... remember the residual is based on the MSRP, not your sales price, and Touareg have inflated MSRP. You should be paying thousands under invoice. All VW captive lease deals are for thousand under invoice. So, 45% of 55,000 MSRP for a TDI Lux is $24,750. But if you paid 48,000, that's over 50%. Every brand is different that way, but usually the highest priced car a manufacturer sells has the worst depreciation, and the Touareg is no exception. At least you don't have to pay full MSRP to get it like some high end brands where the model is in short supply when new, but nobody wants to buy it used...

Looking to get a TDI Lux 2015 myself at 10k a year, so would also be interested in the numbers for January for that (as tglick has asked), as well as for the V6 Lux for comparison. Thanks.

2015 TDI: .00056 MF and 53% residual for 36 mo, 10K/yr

39 month program on the 2015 is not as good. Doesn't appear to be a viable 2014 lease program.

.00056 and 50% for 36/15. $1000 lease cash.

TDI: .00005 MF and 52% residual. $2000 lease cash.

Those are new numbers, effective today... and result in a payment about $60/mo. lower than the previous program.

Are the Lux numbers the same as the other models. I am looking at the Touareg not sure on the model. Possible a Sport, Exec or Lux. Can you please post those numbers for a 36/12 for those models in NJ?

This dealer has a lot of 2014 Touaregs as well, can you lease a 14'? If so, I would be interested in the R-Line numbers. Thanks so much.

Yes, all the gas models, regardless of trim, have the same numbers.

2014 Gas models - .00172 MF and 36% residual for 36/15.

I was at the dealer this afternoon, and they were at $699/month.
47% residual on 12k same money factor as you quoted above.

50,070 V6 Lux on a 54,990 MSRP

607 fees (tires, NJ DMV,)

3999 total due at signing

Doesn't seem right to me, I can't find the $2750 lease cash.

The $2750 lease cash is hidden in the discount from MSRP. Invoice on this vehicle is only about $3600 less than MSRP, and you are getting a $4900 discount. In essence, $2750 from VW and $2150 from the dealer.

Considering all of your upfront payments, the selling price should be the same as the CAP cost, and at .00005 MF and 47% residual, with your MSRP and CAP, I get $677/mo., not $699.

As you can see, a Touareg isn't a cheap vehicle to lease, no matter how good of a deal you get (payment relative to MSRP).

We only have April numbers at the moment, which expire on 4/30/15. No clue what the numbers for May or June will look like.

36/15 numbers:

Lease cash is an incentive paid from the factory to the dealer. The dealer can choose to pass it along to the customer in the form of a reduced selling price, or it can be used to cover the up front costs of a lease.

36/12 for the TDI are .00001 and 50% with $5000 lease cash.

$556.65/month (incl 9% tax) w/ $1000 down (includes 1st month payment) 36/10 lease
MSRP 53,475 (Not exactly sure on this)

Negative Equity from a trade $400 - contract says $214

Dealing with VW dealers was bazaar to say the least. National deal on VW website was $549+tax w/ $3000 down for a TDI Lux model (Costs $4000 more). Several dealers I talked to wanted astronomical rates as well as 1st dealer I went to yesterday, who started out wanting $750/month and 2 or 3,000 down. They went as low as $585+$1000 down plus my trade. I walked and went to the second dealer who didn't give too much trouble beating the other dealer with the deal I went with.

Looks like a decent monthly price for a Touareg. Congrats! The best looking SUV out there, IMO.

Can anyone provide info on lease cash, and mf for a TDI Lux on a PA. 36/12,000 lease. MSRP 58,490 Guys any help would be great. Thanks

Hi, I'm looking to lease a 2015 Touareg Lux for 36mo/15k. Not sure about TDI or Gas yet. I want to put nothing down except for first month's payment and title if possible. Anyone have the rates for southern california? Hoping to have payment at/under $600 with tax.

Also, I have an Audi that I am trying to turn in early from a lease. Do you think I will get any leniency since the lease is with VW credit as well? I got a quote at carmax that was about $5k under what the payoff quote was. I may end up rolling it into the lease if I have to just because I really don't like the car. Just hope VW will give me a better trade in value than Carmax. Anybody got an idea or similar experience that might help me out?

Hey all, been following this thread for some time. I just had a chance to get a quote from a local dealer and I wanted to know if it's a good deal.

The dealer made me an offer for the TDI Lux 36mo/15k for 559/mo, 3000 down + 3000 in other fees (docking fee is 500, registration fee 400, first month's payment, and sales tax around 1600). So I'd be paying about 6000 up front and then 559/month for the 36 months. Do you guys think this a good deal?

Not enough information to comment - we need the MSRP and selling price.

We do not recommend making a down payment on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Current numbers for the TDI are .00001 and 48% for 36/15; $5000 lease cash.

Sorry about that - MSRP is 58490. Residual % is 48, residual value is 28075. MF was .00001. I asked about lease cash but the sales consultant didn't seem to know what that was. The only other number I have is "cash cap reduction" which is $3000.

Regarding selling price - I don't see any other number on the sheet I was given and nothing about capitalized cost so I am guessing the dealer was trying to unload this lease at MSRP... yikes.

Looks like others have been getting about $5000 off the car.

How does the lease cash work, is it added after the negotiated price of the vehicle? Also are there still lease figures for 2014's I found a v6 sport sitting at a dealer. 36mo/15k in Nothern California
