What have people been getting monthly for no money down 36mo/15k miles on the ML350?

Yes.. I can confirm those numbers..

Haha thanks... What is the consensus here, as in what are people getting the ML350 for no money down? How much are they knocking off the price?

    Hi Michaell,
Have used the pricing tools but they just tell me the Edmunds Tru Value of the car.

I would like to know if there are any Manufacturer discounts on the ML 350 for March 2015 ? Plus, any dealer incentives that anyone has received ? This will help me figure out how much margin I have to negotiate with the dealer, i.e., How much they would be willing to knock off the price ?

    Thoughts anyone ?

    Thanks

The TrueValue is the target price for the car you are interested in, in the area in which you live.

Use the "Car Research" tab to link to any customer incentives that are available.

No dealer incentives that I'm aware of.

Greetings! Here's the deal I'm working on, I think it's a pretty good one:

    Model: 2015 ML 350 4Matic
    Ppd. maint. opt.: No
    Term: 36 months
    Mileage: 12,000/yr
    MSRP: $62,130
Negotiated Price: $55,500 (~11% off MSRP)
    Resid. Value: $34,171 (55%)
    MF: 0.00111
    Down Pmt.: $2,000
    Use tax: $57.47/mo (CA 9.0%)
    Up-Front Dealer Profit (a/k/a Acq.Fee): $1095 (higher than the $795 min)
    Adj. Cap Cost: $53,651.90
    Mo. Pmt. (w/o tax): $638.60
    Mo. Pmt. (with tax): $696.07
    "Driveoff": $4500

By the way - I'm working off of a dealer screenshot, so it is a little confusing to me what the $4500 is. I believe it's $2500 cash (for the first month's payment, title, registration, dealer doc profit fees, etc.) plus the $2000 down pmt (cap cost red.), but am not 100% sure about that.

There is a trade-in involved, and the dealer is offering the higher end of wholesale for that car, which I'm comfortable with. I will net $2500 in equity from that deal after paying off the note which will be used to reduce the capitalized cost.

    Thanks.

Don't put $2000 down as a cap cost reduction & do not take the $2500 trade equity as a cp cost reduction either.

Normally, I'm a big believer in putting $0 down on a lease...after all, why put money down on something that I'm renting?

That said, I am taking the remaining slivers of equity out of my existing car, because I consider that money down the drain anyway. That's my own way of looking at it, but I realize there can be differing opinions there. But, bottom line is I really want to keep my payment under $700 for cash flow purposes, and here's an easy enough way to do it.

The real question I should be asking is why does it cost the same to lease a $62k ML as it does a $70k 535i? But, that's for another day. And since my last 4 cars were BMWs, I'm willing to get a little less for my money this time just to make the switch to Mercedes...even though their lease deals kind of suck.

I'm looking to lease 15,000 / Miles for 3 years with Maintenance included for 40k miles. I'm looking to purchase and register vehicle in PA. What is MF and Residual for month of April'15?

    Thanks a lot.

I believe sales tax is applied to the monthly payment, not calculated up front. Backing the sales tax out of the balance due would knock about $150 off the payment, then that amount is subject to sales tax.

I get roughly $830/mo with those calculations (assuming 9.8% sales tax).

Hi - I was quoted this price after much back and forth:

    2015 ML350 AWD
    $52,700 (sticker: $54,700)
36 mo lease/15K miles per year
    36 mos: $887/mo; 55% residual
    42 mos: $877/mo: 47% residual

Out of pocket = first payment + $254 title

I appreciate your thoughts on this and if I am getting the "right" quote.

    Thanks.

    .00111 MF and 53% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr. 55% residual would be for 12K/yr.

If I add 6.25% tax and $795 acquisition fee to the selling price.. for a CAP cost of $56,838, I get $840/mo. (with 55% residual)

Frankly, $2000 off MSRP doesn't seem like much of a discount... and, of course, no way of knowing what money factor they are actually using. Even the advertised deals assume a $2200 discount.. I would think you could do a lot better than this.

Thanks. Closer review of my emails shows a $3000 off MSRP bringing the price to $51,700. What is the payment at this price point for the 36 mo lease? What is a reasonable amount to negotiate "off" the MSRP? I am very new to negotiating my own car deal and find this all very overwhelming. I don't understand what all the monthly payment takes into consideration. Thanks again for your assistance!

Hi - I was quoted this price after much back and forth:

    2015 ML350 AWD
    $52,700 (sticker: $54,700)
36 mo lease/15K miles per year
    36 mos: $887/mo; 55% residual
    42 mos: $877/mo: 47% residual

Out of pocket = first payment + $254 title

I appreciate your thoughts on this and if I am getting the "right" quote.

Read back through the last page or two of posts to see what others have been able to negotiate off sticker price.

The base money factor for this model is .00111. The money factor markup is adding about $35/mo. to your payment.

Don't know how your $2K upfront is broken down, but the base acq.fee is $795. They have likely marked that up, as well.

    Hi,
I have been quoted the following
    Vehicle price = 58045
    Selling price = 53500
    Trade in = 7500
    Cost = 46000
    Tax 3990
    MF = .0144
    Residual 55%

Monthly 593 with trade in or 447 with 5K down+trade in

    Is this a good deal?

    No.

Base MF for the ML350 is .00099, so the dealer is marking that up on you.

We absolutely do not recommend using trade equity or down payment to lower your payment .. if the vehicle is stolen or totaled during the lease, you lose that money.

Is this Texas, Georgia or Maryland? Those are the only states I know of that tax the entire selling price and make you pay it up front (or add it into the cap cost).

Using the base MF and a net cap cost of $57,490, I get a payment of $799/mo. You might be able to shave more off the selling price.
