2002 Protege econo/power switch

Could a ABS fuse removed cause my econo/power SW inoperative?

    It turns out that isn't an easy question to answer. One way to find out for sure would be to install the ABS fuse and see what happens. After looking at a number of system schematics identifying which system that switch connects to isn't readily apparent. If the Mazda IDS scan tool was used then the switch data could be found in the data stream and that would work to identify the system it connects to. Why it is missing in Mitchell schematics is one of those little headaches that techs sometimes have to work around. To get that information it might be necessary to pay for a short term subscription to Mazda's factory service information.
