So what are the money factors and residuals I should be asking for? Both 36 month 12 and 15k a year. And Audi care bumps the residual by 1% am I correct ?

S4 Premium Plus 36/15 numbers are .00061 and 53%. Add 1% for AudiCare.

Great forum! I am looking at an 2015 S4 P+ manual 36/15k. What is the MF and residual for this currently? I see the numbers previously posted, but didn't know if the "manual" configuration would have an impact.

Should follow my quote from above: .00061 and 53%. I don't think the transmission affects the residual.

Thanks! My monthly lease payment calc is $713.32 based on MSRP 55,400; Base Selling Price 51,978; Cap Red $1k (conquest incentive); Cap Inc $1,368 (includes AudiCare $895); Residual value $29,916 (53+1 for AudiCare) and sales tax rate 6.25%. I believe these numbers are correct. If you have a moment can you verify?

Using your MSRP and selling price, I get a payment of $611.19/mo with tax.

Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is after all the adjustments - there might be a hidden fee or two in there somewhere.

EDIT - sorry, I was using a 42 month term. If I change to 36 months, the payment goes to $720.78 with tax.

I get $677.40/mo with tax and $0 cap cost reduction; the $927 you show reduces your pre-tax payment about $26/mo.

The AudiCare was rolled into the payments. Finance guy said its costing me $8 (or 9, can't recall exactly)/mo.

Does that make the payments line up, or did you already account for that?

I *think* I got a great deal, but I'm not really sure. The numbers above were taken from my lease agreement.

Sorry, I didn't adjust the residual to account for the AudiCare increase, but $8/9 per month sounds about right - 1% of $60K is $600, and 57% of that is $342, so about $9.50/mo for 36 months.

It's the Prestige trim that makes it lower... Not sure if the exclusive edition has different numbers (but, that's doubtful).

Hi...I was hoping you could check my inputs and math. I'm looking at the following for a 2015 Premium + S4 with Auto Trans for 36Mo / 7.5K mi per year:

MSRP: 59,115
Sales Price: 57,200 (I think I can do a little better, but this is the first offer I've gotten so far from dealer)
Incentives: 2,250 (I was told this included Audi Summer Event and Customer Loyalty incentives)
Net Cap Cost: 54,950
Residual (@ 57%): 33,696 (per this forum and quoted by dealer)
Money Factor: 0.00061 (per this forum I think this is correct. Note the dealer quoted me 0.0015...more on that later)
Tax Rate (Seattle, WA): 9.8%
My Calculation = 708 per month with 0 down (I think this should be around $2,000 out of pocket up front for license, doc fee, acq fee and 1st mo payment)

Dealer gave me a quote of 2,000 out of pocket up front and 806 a month. If I use the .0015 MF, I get 795 per month (i.e within $11 per month of the quote).

It seems like the dealer is really trying to profit off me on the MF. I've bought a couple Audi's from this salesperson before and gotten fair deals. Should I hold this against the salesperson or the finance person? Thoughts?

I confirm the .00061 MF and 57% residual for the S4 Prem Plus.

I'm getting the $708/mo number as well.

Yes, dealer is marking up the MF on you. Politely but firmly explain that you won't sign a deal unless the base MF is used.

It turns out I can't get the color I want, so I'm likely going to need wait for a 2016 (although the dealer has agreed to lease at the base rates). Any idea on timing of the 2016's (both when the cars will begin arriving at dealers and when the lease rates will be published)?

OK, I'm working on closing my deal today. I'm getting $54,585, which is about $1700 over invoice. I was just discussing I'll be putting down MSD, and was informed that there is a cap that the MF cannot go below .00050, is this true?

I'm currently arguing, and trying to get my "base MF" to .00061, as has been quoted here many times for the Audi Premium Plus S4 currently. With 2 MSD, that'll come down to .00051. Can I really not put any more down to get the MF down lower? I was hoping to put down 5, for MF of .00036 before talking with my dealer. He says audi will not close the deal with the MF below .0005.

Or maybe he was saying .00005. I'm trying to collect my numbers before I call him back, and looking for some confirmation either way.

The minimum MF for Audi leases is indeed .00005 (4 zeros). If the base MF is .00061, you can put down the maximum of 9 MSDs, each of which lower the MF by .00005, for a net MF of .00016.

Shouldn't be a problem.

Current Audi numbers are good until 10/1. Might get replaced with new numbers, but we don't know that yet.

We have no lease numbers on the 2015 S4, sorry.

My guess the lease numbers are so poor as to offset any increase in the discount you could negotiate.
