I have a 99 Isuzu Trooper that I am receiving random misfire codes with I have replaced the intake gaskets as they were leaking check the fuel pressure and check the plugs and coil packs the plugs were very black but I have not changed them yet the airbox sounded very loud I also replace the camshaft sensor as the one who installed it before me bent one of the prongs so it was not connected properly I am leaning towards the catalytic converters being stopped up it's very noisy when you rev the engine loud as in something is rattling inside them my next step is disconnecting them and seeing what happens the car runs fine when at idle does not seem to be missing at all

Hello! Have your coil checked at a good auto electric shop, and I would replace the plug wires. Good luck.
