Any word on the October numbers?

Also has anyone had any success with using an alternative bank? I heard potentially 42 months / 12k with a 62% residual and a 0.00154 MF.

    2015 or 2016?

    Which trim/model?

I'm looking for an HSE or HSE Lux. Could be 2015 or 2016, although I haven't been seeing very many 2015s left. For example the dealer I spoke with today had 20 2016s and 2 2015s.

    Today I heard:
    33 mos / 12k: 65% & .00191
    36 mos / 12k: 62% & .00154

Still trying to confirm if anyone else has had success with a bank other than Chase on a 42 mos lease.

Can you quote 2016 Discovery Sport HSE lease rates for 33 and 42 months @ 12K/year ?
My dealer said that the 33 month and 42 months are the lowest cost leases from Land Rover.

    Thanks!

So if the MSRP of the vehicle is $48,600, how do i determine what my lease payment should be? I'm being quoted $685/mo on 33 month lease and out of pocket of $1,867 (includes 1st month).

We need to know the selling price - or, better yet, the net cap cost - in order to model a payment.

What are the current numbers for an HSE LUX, MSRP $52845? 24month/12k; 33/12k; 24/15k; 33/15k?

The net cap cost is $48,795 (so a hair above MSRP of $48,603 - should that be the case?). $1,867 out of pocket (includes first month) and showing a monthly payment of $685 on 33 month lease. Let me know if that is fair, or where there should be room...thanks!

Usually, the net cap is lower than the MSRP, to reflect the discount on the selling price from sticker. It is possible, however, that taxes and fees are being added into that discounted price, thus bringing the net cap to a number higher than MSRP.

Under this scenario, and using your prices, I get $699/mo, so a bit higher than the dealer quote.

I'd get the net cap cost broken down to see all the numbers.

Thanks Michael. here is the breakdown i have...
    Selling Price: $46,739.50
    DOC Fee: $75
    Acquisition Fee: $795
    Cap Taxes:$2,055.19
    Gross Cap Cost: $46,739.50
    Net Cap Cost: $48,794.69

Elsewhere on the sheet it says Advanced Payment: $685 and Upfront Charges:$1,182.50 and Due on Delivery:$1,867.50

Does that give you everything you need? thanks again, amazing how there is such a strong community of people willing to lend their time and expertise to help total strangers out with a stressful process.

Nothing jumps out at me - NY collects the taxes on a lease up front; that's the $2055.19 you list. Acquisition and doc fees are in line, as well.

Just need to get a bigger discount from sticker, it looks like.

I live in Chicago and I'm looking to lease DS HSE, 33/10 or 42/10. Does Land Rover accept multiple security deposits? Also, I'm having a hard time figuring out how the city and state taxes play into the payment. Thanks!

No MSD program for Land Rover that I'm aware of.

I believe that IL calculates the entire tax for the lease up front; you can either pay it at lease signing or add the taxes into the cap cost.

Trying to figure out what type of incentive and MF is offered on the current Discovery Sport HSE lease deal. Details provided here and reproduced below:

Land Rover 2016 Discovery Sport HSE
    Lease Term: 39 mo
    Lease Pyt: $439/mo
Downpayment: $3,056 (note removed $439, first mo. pyt)
    Miles: 8,333/mo
    MSRP: $42,950
    Dest fee included in deposit
    MF: ??
    Residual: $26,629 (62%)
Incentive: ?? (if 58% per above posts, $30,888)

If I use a MF of 0.0026 (from some of posts above), I think the incentive is $5,210 ($133.59/mo). Is that right?

39/10 lease numbers for Discovery Sport HSE - 62% and .00254.

I don't have LR incentive information.

Would need to know the selling price and breakdown of the down payment to fully comment on your quote.

We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

OK, but still an advertised offer. You should be able to beat that with some decent negotiations on the selling price.

2016 numbers are available ... what trim level?

BTW, 24 month MF is horrible this month ... 36 months is .00254 regardless of trim.

    Hi There,

    Two questions.
    1. What's the difference between 15' and 16'? Can't seem to find that info anywhere. The MF of 16's 0.00254 is bad compare with the 15's 0.000x range. Is it still worth getting the 16'?

    2. I am looking at a Discovery Sport HSE Luxury, MSRP $47,970, what would be its MF and Residual? 36mth, 10/12K. Any additional incentives?

Thanks so much for the help.

    1) Can't help you with model year changes

    2) .00048 MF and 53% residual for 39mo, 12K/yr is the best term.

BTW, 24 month MF is horrible this month ... 36 months is .00254 regardless of trim.
Thanks, I am shopping for a 15/16 HSE (depends if the engine change is significant) thanks for the numbers, going to hopefully get into one this Saturday, and the residual is?

Is the 33 months that much better in terms on the MF and residual?

is there a post for the 2016 MF? or if its available? looking for 24/10k or 36/10k (really don't want to deal with getting a car in summer with the 33 month thing unless the number makes sense)

    Thanks in advance

I am trying to use the advertised number and to figure out aside from the lease cash what else can be factored into incentives

The dealer that I went to basically tried to lease it to me at msrp, I told them no thanks and they didn't want to give me numbers over email either, while they were being nice about it I felt it was more a way to make sure their clients are not informed on pricing so maximize profit

Capitalized Cost: $ 43153.00 45845.00 MSRP minus discount
    Lease Price: $ 42153.00 minus $ 1000.00 down payment
    Residual Value: $ 28423.90 after 36 months
Depreciation Fee: $ 381.36 part of lease payment
Lease Fee: $ 179.09 part of lease payment
Monthly Payment: $ 560.45 without tax
    Usage Tax: $ 49.74 8.88 % of 13729.10
Total Monthly Payment: $ 610.19 What you pay

I tried to offered the above number. for the HSE with drive assist and climate package, was I lowballing the dealer or was it a reasonable offer?

the 1k down is from the holiday bonus lease cash

How did you come up with the lease price?

$610/mo seems expensive for a $46K luxury SUV. But, these are new and may not lease well initially.

I offered invoice and then 1k lease cash The 6% money factor is not helping Perhaps a better time to lease these things is after the winter, it was a nice car a bit hesitant on the throttle but you do feel like you are driving a suv as opposed to those GLE, X1, that are really jacked up hatch backs I wouldn't mind paying 22k to lease a 43k car for 3 years, just don't want to lease at the msrp when the MF is at 6% which almost make buying a better option except I don't trust these cars a mile beyond its warranty

reached out to another dealer, the sales was much more willing to work with me

just wondering if its normal for the dealer to offer MF below .00254 with the same residual for a 2016 HSE?

By below I mean I was quoted 0.00154 and about 2k off MSRP after doc and bank fee

    MSRP 46423
    SELLING PRICE 44400
    36/10
    MF 0.00154, RESIDUAL 62%

comes to $623.73 a month, just pay first month drive off, supposedly everything from tax to DMV was all rolled in, NYC tax included, the lease cash is paid towards the down so just pay first month to drive away

    Am I missing something?

Normally, the dealer can't go below the buy rate on the MF ... wonder if this is a 3rd party lease from a different bank.

I thought it's a bit odd and also questioned the person, they did email me a lease quote confirming the pricing and rates I just hope it won't be one of those I go there and the deal changes type of place as its a dealer over an hour away (to be fair the guy did tried the hardest to hustle the deal, I want to give him the sale) How can another bank come into picture when I am getting the LR lease cash? Happy Thanksgiving!

I'd be wary of the numbers changing, too.

Thanks for your information! Very helpful.
Unfortunately the dealership I go to is out of 2015 models.
2016's current MF is not that good. Will there be a new MF for the month of Dec?

I'm a noob here... when calculating lease payment, where should the acquisition fees, doc fees (any other misc fees?) go into the calculation?

Say if I am looking at 2016 Disco Sport HSE, MSRP $45575 (driver assist + wheel pack + audio pack), using the provided 39/10K numbers (62% and 0.00254). If at MSRP, is the monthly payment $688.44? (9% Tax in CA)
On the other hand, will $600 be a possible number to reach or way too low?
