I am shopping for Honda Accord EXL in Tampa, FL. When I compare the OTD price that folks got in GA 26250 OTD and VA 26750 the quotes that I got for EXL are in the range of 27,800 OTD. I am wondering what others are paying in Tampa area and dealerships that are offering good deals.

    Honda accord 2016 EXl - 26250 OTD
Honda accord 2016 with nav and sensing EXL- 28250 OTD
Honda CRV 2015 AWD EXL 29k OTD
If you do find the paperwork, I really would like to know what you paid for the exl with sensing prior to the tax/fees/tax, but with the destination.

    It was 25500 +700 ->destination

How did you ever drive off the lot with a $35,000 2016 Honda Accord Touring for $31,000?

    Hello Thomasr1950,

"I bought the 1st 2016 Accord Touring my dealer got in. I paid just over, $31,000.00. Only extras were the mud guards, 2.05% interest. "

31000 is base price with Destination fees for car plus TTL, and 2.05 % APR if for 60 months?

    Appreciate your reply.

I was quoted $26,188 for a 2016 EX-L Coupe V-6 model. I am still waiting for the out the door price that will include tax, title, and fees.  Does it seem like a good deal so far?
Invoice is 28,282, if you truly got quoted for almost 2k BELOW invoice for a 2016 that's a great price. Which dealer is this and why would they sell it so low?
  • akireakire Member Posts: 3
Is this a fair deal in Tampa:
    2016 EXL-V6 $27780
    Doc Fee $700
    Agency Fee $100
    Tax $1765
    TTL $150
    OTD $30495

What range is best to target?

    Thanks for your feedback.

MD dealer offered $19000 sale price including freight for 2016 Accord LX CVT.  Out the door with processing, MD govt. fees and tax is $20,734. Dealer only offered that price at the last minute because I told him we were at a competing dealer about to sign on the dotted line for $500 more.

That does seem like a good deal. I too am in Southern CA and was just quoted $20,999 for a base LX CVT. They also want to add on a $695 protection package. Can you mention which dealer or at least the city it's in?

    Thanks.

I'm looking to purchase a 2016 EX CVT. The first offer I got from a dealer, 2-3 weeks ago (at 6.75% sales tax) was about 28,100. I didn't expect that people would already be getting them for under 26k, with some here posting 24k OTD. Any tips on how I should arrive at this price? I'm pretty open on color. is 24k really realistic

I was aiming for 25k but less would be fantastic!

Has anyone been able to negotiate a great price on a 2016 EX-L with Nav and Sensing (4cyl)? The best offer I've received is $27,450 ($31,405 MSRP). Thanks!

I am interested in buying a 2016 EX-L CVT with a window sticker price of $29,405. The dealer is talking about $2000 off that (plus tax and minimal fees...no big "doc" fee, just the state required fees). I am seeing people claim they are buying 2016 Accords for about $4000 off the sticker, give or take, on this bulletin board. What am I missing?

Today I purchased my first Honda since my 1984 Civic.

Don't know what's going on in Atlanta, but these things are being discounted.

2016 EX-L, black on black, MSRP $29,390. Selling price $24,200. All weather mats $130.20.

Dealer fee $699. Stupid GA ad valorem $1914.50. $27,068.70 OTD. Drove a bunch of midsize cars, at $24,200 this sedan absolutely slays everything.

Here's a data point. I bought my 2016 Accord EX-L sedan on Sept 5 (labor day weekend) for 26,500 + 300 processing +TTL in MD (DC area). Invoice is $26,954 so I was $150 under invoice if you include all the fees. I emailed about 20 dealers the week before labor day and worked the quote down to 26,500 which was the best I could do. This was nearly a month ago and about 2 weeks after launch, so you can probably do better now, at least around here (DC, MD, VA area)

Thanks for posting. Which dealer is this?

Bought a 2016 Accord LX CVT sedan yesterday in central Texas. MSRP $23725. Invoice $21787. Sale price $19545 + $174 doc fee + TTL. Out-the-door $21200. To get this price, I had to finance with Honda at 3.1%. Otherwise, it would be $500 higher. Since there is no prepayment penalty, I'll pay off the loan next month. No trade-in, by the way.

    Cleveland Area
2016 Honda Accord Sedan Touring MSRP $35,415
    $31,100 before taxes and fees.
Also got $500 off OTD price for using 1.9 Honda Finance.

Also in Cleveland Area. I helped my friend get this deal.
2016 Honda Accord Sedan Sport CVT w/o Sensing MSRP $25,800
$21,800 before taxes and fees. Also took the $500 off OTD price for using 1.9 Honda Finance.

What dealership sells the extended warranty at cost? Just looking down the road before the bumper to bumper warranty finishes since my touring is FULL of electronics.

I used the Honda Sensing on the drive up to Toronto and man that worked really well once I got comfortable letting it steer around curves! Set cruise at 75 and set to two car lengths behind the car in front.

    Yes that includes destination.

21.8k plus 250 dealer fees plus 8% tax plus 33.50 registration then subtract $500 so OTD around 23,347.
