How could I find out the total number of any car year model sold in the U.S.?

I'm looking at several 2015 -16 SUV's and have found the "carcomplain.com website. But this site gives the total number of complaints for each model year, but not the total number of vehicles of each model year sold. Obviously, to be fair, you would need both numbers to accurately judge the SUV (or any other make/model) under consideration. Help please.
