A little late now but if someone could chime in on how I did I would appreciate it. I leased this on 1/4. A 2016 340i X Drive. MSRP was $60,075. This included Cold Weather, Driver Assistance, Driver Assistance Plus, M Sport Package and Tech package. Also, Black Kidney Grills, Black Sapphire Metallic Paint and Black Dakota Leather interior and floor liners. Selling price was $53,500. I put first month ($656) and title and doc fees down. This totaled $1,023 down. Taxes and everything else was rolled into the lease. I'm in Ohio. This was for 36/12 lease. Paying $656/month for 35 more months. I think I did good but I'd greatly appreciate any opinions... good or bad and appreciate the honesty.

I would say you did OK - do you know what the net cap cost was, after rolling everything in?

    That's a pretty loaded 3-series.

Something to remember - the pleasure you get from driving the car for the next three years will far outweigh any financial regrets you may be feeling at the moment.

Can you include what incentives you used. BMW is offering up to two $500 payments waivers this month too. Did you utilize this and the $1000 option credit? The waiver is not a posted incentive you have to ask for it and I think you need to be an existing BMW NA/FS customer.

Other then that your deal seems really good. Congrats!

I sure do. Adjusted cap cost was $55,915. It was sales price plus $1490 in taxes and $925 acquisition fee. Thanks for your information. I appreciate it!

It was a discount off of MSRP plus $1500 in rebates. I know the rebates I used expired 1/4. I think it was buildout and holiday of $750/each if memory serves me right. Hope that helps and thank you!

I am looking at a 2106 BMW 328XI S Demo with 9400 miles on it. The lease offered is 549.75/mo with $1,839 down. This is a 36/12 lease. Residual is $31,973.40. Money Factor .00150. MSRP $44,899. I feel like there should be wiggle room since it is a demo. What are your thoughts? Thank you!!
  • bobq106bobq106 Member Posts: 9
BY the way, the MSRP is originally 51, 570 for the vehicle. That is what the 31,973 residual is based upon (.62). The reduced 'demo' price is 44,899. Thanks again.

A 2016 with 9400 miles on it already?

Base MF is .00132 this month; dealer is marking that up on you for extra profit.

Residual would be adjusted downward for the miles - at .20/mile that would equate to another $1800 off the calculated residual.

    36/12 residual is 60% on the 2016's, not 62%. 2015 residual for 36/12 is 57%.

I'd contact the dealer and confirm these numbers ... nothing seems right on this deal.

I need a sanity check. I just priced out a lease on a 340 xDrive with an MSRP of $59,595 for 36 months / 10K miles, and was quoted $712.69 per month ($0 down, just inceptions). I was told the selling price was $55,900 and that MF was .00103 (after accounting for maximum number of MDSs). Can anyone advise where the reasonable lease range for this car should be? Thanks!

.00132 MF and 61% residual. .00083 MF with max MSDs.

If $55,900 is the CAP cost, then that's $638/mo.+tax. with MF of .00103

"just inceptions" is pretty vague. Better find out what's included and what isn't included, and might be added to the CAP cost.

The money factor markup is adding about $20/mo. to the payment.

I have some additional info on a car I asked about last week.

2016 BMW 328XI Luxury Line w/ Cold wx, driver asst, tech pkg
    Demo vehicle with 9160 miles
    MSRP - $51,570
    SP - $44899
    Gross Cap - $45,848

    Net Cap $44,863
    Adj Residual $30,248
    MF - .00150

Total lease price is offered at $549.75

Is this a little high for a demo?

    Thank you!!

.00132 is the base MF, so that is inflated a bit.

What lease term and how many miles per year are you looking for?

Might be able to get a bit more off the selling price for the miles, but the residual will be adjusted down as well to compensate. Seems like a pretty high payment for a car with over 9000 miles on it ... why not go new?

I would go new, but if I can keep the payment below $540 or so (which I don't think I can with this car new) I'll take the demo.

Using your prices, and deducting .20/mile for the 9100 miles, I get a payment of $534/mo + tax. And, that's using the base MF of .00132. Add $14/mo for the inflated MF.

Looking for some info on 36 mo 10k mile lease for 320 or 328xi in CT. Getting off around 9-10% from MSRP (not including 1k rebate). Do you have current MF and residual values. Does this sound like reasonable discount. Thanks!

Sounds like a great discount. Make sure they don't make it up, by adding superfluous fees and marking up the money factor.

Just totaled my car and am looking to do a deal this weekend.

Can anyone post the MF/residual on a 2015 328xi with 36/10? A dealer I talked to has one with an MSRP of $48000 and after a 5 min discussion over the phone said it would be selling for under invoice at roughly $42,000. Is there anywhere I can find invoice prices?

Also, is there anything I should know about service loaners? I talked to someone who has a 328xi well equipped with an MSRP of $48150 with 5300 miles on it, and they are letting it go for $38000. Should I expect a bigger discount? They are quoting a lease payment of $399 + tax with 7 MSDs and nothing down except first months payment, admin fee, and registration.

Thanks. The invoice is $41,095 and the selling price is 39,721. The MSRP was $43,895. Lease for 36/10 with $2500 drive off. Dealer says $446 plus tax monthly. Seems high. Thanks for your help.

I get $447/mo with those numbers (.00132 and 61%). Only way to improve on it is to negotiate a lower price or use MSD to buy down the MF.

    Dear all,

If anyone can give me the residuals and MF on 2016 320 I would appreciate it. Location is Southern California.

    Can you please advise for:
    24months/10k miles
    24months/12k
    36month/10k
    36month/12k

Also, does the MF and residuals change for different 3-class models, such as 2016 320 xdrive or 340? Or are they all the same?

    .00132 MF and 66%/60% residual for 24/36 months, 12K/yr. Add 1% for 10K/yr. $1000 option allowance.

All of the 3-Series have the same program.
