I see the 2015 forum but was wondering if a 2016 ES350 Lexus leasing forum exists? Also does Southeast Toyota own rights to Lexus as well in Florida?

Good question about Lexus - their job listing at CareerBuilder talks about processing Lexus cars for distribution to SET dealers. On the other hand, JM Lexus is not part of the Southeast Toyota region. (autonews) But if you buy/lease from a JM dealer, well you are dealing with the same folks as SET.

I don't know...it doesn't sound like SET distributes Lexus cars, just Toyotas and Scions. (wiki)

As @stever noted, Lexus vehicles are not part of SET.

I know they are doing strong 2015 2yr low mile leases on the GS. Didn't know if you knew the difference between the 2015 and 2016 GS 7.5k/24mo rates and residuals? Also if there is a similar 24mo/7.5k lease on the 2016 ES350?

24mo, 7.5K/yr residual for the 2016 ES 350 is 72%.

With the slight drop in residual and the first payment credit gone, the monthly payment jumped up by about $30. Kinda wish I pulled the trigger on the 4th.

Wanted to get MF and residuals for ES-350 36 months / 15k per year for Massachusetts.
Also, any insight into what a reasonable amount of discount of MSRP would be. Looking at a pretty loaded ES-350 with MSRP of $46,764. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Went to a local dealer last week and they came back with a money factor of .0011 is there a way or place to actually see the base money factor from the dealer? Suggestions on tactfully negotiating that down?

Politely but firmly tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF. They know what the base rate is.

Reach out to other dealers, too.

Vehicle has been secured. Production date of March 30th, should arrive at dealership end of April.
Dealership says they cant contract the vehicle until it arrives. Hope mf and residuals hold.

What is the residual and money factor for 36mths/10K or 7.5K in Northern CA for Lexus ES350? Does the different packages matter e.g. premium, luxury, etc.?

Any incentives/lease cash? The Lexus site is advertising a 1st month complimentary payment.

$500 lease cash and complimentary first payment.

Individual packages and options do not affect these numbers.

How much is the dealer allowed to mark-up the money factor?

Regarding MSDs, is it still 1 MSD reduces the money factor by 0.00008? And maximum is 9 MSDs for Lexus? And the minimum money factor is 0.00005?

Maximum .00100 markup allowed.

I confirm a maximum of 9 MSDs, each of which lower the MF by .00008, and a minimum MF of .00001

Looking at an ES350 and they're asking for a "due at signing" amount.

If you roll the fees into the lease to avoid out of pocket costs, and car is stolen or totaled, are you still responsible for the fees?

It's part of the amount financed and would be covered by GAP insurance.

Lexus numbers are regional, but we don't have all regions.

I confirm the 62% residual for 36/10. I show .00040 MF for the ES350 in the "Central" area, and .00070 for the "Southern" area.

Contact several Lexus dealers near you and see if they all provide the same number.

Seems like dealers here like to mark up the money factor. One quoted with with the max markup, MF= 0.0017! Thanks to Edmunds, I'm no easy prey.

I am wondering if it's better to state upfront in the initial email what I think the money factor should be. Or do I need to play this song and dance with each dealer?

You politely but firmly tell the dealers that you won't sign a deal with a marked up MF. Then, widen your search of dealers. It only takes one to make a deal on your terms.

I picked up an ES 350 last night.

Here are the details for those in the market.

MSRP 43,710
Selling Price - 41,065
Net Cap Cost - 40,165
MF - .00006
Residual - 62% (27,100)
Due at signing - 3700 (8 MSDs at 3200 and additional 500)
Monthly - 399.99 with tax

I tried to avoid paying the 500, but this was the best I was able to negotiate. Thanks for all of the information here. Really helps with getting a deal you're comfortable with.
