Crickets under hood

Got a 5.9 about 4 years ago. Started hearing crickets noises on drivers side under hood. Noises only start after truck is warm ( driving for 5 mins. or so ) Only after 35 mph. Crickets are constant noise, will not vary with speed, Sounds like metal to metal chatter. Will stop chattering after dropping below 25 mph. Will not chatter at idle. Driving me nuts!!!!

Have you tried taking a look at those little rubber dampers that usually mount on the inner fender rails?

Also you might close the hood tight, stand back and see if you have different gaps left and right where the hood meets the fender. Perhaps that hood just needs a reset.

Also push up and down on the hood in front and see if there is play in there. Maybe the hood isn't quite closing tightly enough.
