I got a quote from a PA dealer for a 2015 Q50 AWD Base (no moonroof). Please let me know your thought.

$4K down and $287 a month for 39 mons and 10K mile a year.

The total cost (including tax and all the fees) is $14906 and the residual would be $22319.

Tag fees and doc fee is 127 and 134. Capitalized taxes is 450 and Acq Fee is $700.

I dont know the MF and plan to tell the dealer that I don't want to put anything down (I rather increase the monthly payment).

I get $344.80 before tax with those numbers (and $0 down - we suggest you do not put money down on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled you lose that money)

Is it a 2015? If so, then no, something is off.

    .00008 MF and 52% residual

    $398/mo.+tax.

Yeah 2015. Guess I was too impatient and could not negotiate well.

Hi! I would totally appreciate an opinion on this deal I have for a 2015 Q50 sport. Here are the terms.

    Q50 Sport
    MSRP - $46,600
    Terms: 39mo X 15K miles
At signing: $1,430 (includes 1st payment)
    Payment w/ 6% tax: $494
Dealership to make 2 remaining payments on my BMW totaling $1,376
    MF was .00032
    RV was 50%

Thoughts? Do you think I can do better? Was going to push for nothing at signing plus getting to make a 3rd BMW payment which will be owed regardless.

The ideal lease would require $0 or low down payment and $0 or low out of pocket costs at signing.
The best way to compare leases that are similar in those respects, and have the same length term and miles, is to calculate cost per mile. Add up all the lease payments, tax and fees and divide that sum by the total number of miles allowed during the lease. Compare the cost per mile of each lease offer and choose the one with the lowest cents per mile.
There is no need to be concerned about the money factor or residual value unless you want to buy the car at the end of the lease. If you want to save money, just compare the pennies per mile cost for the car(s) you want.
Required maintenance costs or free/included maintenance should also be factored into the total cost of the lease when figuring per mile cost.
