    .00061 MF and 53% residual for 39mo, 15K/yr.

15K/yr is the highest allowance we show. Residual would be reduced on a per/mile basis over that.

Thank you Mr. Moderator. I have finally negotiated the following price for the 2015 QX60 (39 months 12k miles) and am going in tomorrow to pick it up. I would like to share my numbers and run them by you guys to see if they sound right:

    MSRP: $44,105
    Selling Price: $36,105 ($8,000 discount)
    Acquisition: $700
    T&L: $304.50
    NET CAP COST: $37,109.50
    TX Sales Tax (6.25%): $2,319.34
    ADJUSTED CAP COST: $39,428.84
    MF with 6 x MSDs: 0.00001 (0.00061 - 0.00060)
    Residual @ 55%: $24,257.75
    DEPRECIATION: $389.00
    Rent Charge: $0.64
    TOTAL PAYMENT: $389.64

    First Payment: $389.64
    6 x MSDs: $3,000
    TOTAL DRIVE-OFF: $3,389.64

Please suggest if I should roll-up any of the first month payment into the drive-off charge or if I should take anything out of the Net Cap and pay upfront. Also, please chime in about what you think about the over-all deal. Thank you all of you!!!

Pay the T&L upfront, to make sure you don't get taxed on the $304.50 in government fees. Other than that, I'd do it just like that. I get the same numbers

Thanks Mr. Moderator. I just read that the MSD is equal to the monthly payment rounded up to the next $50. Does that mean my MSD should be $400? If so, the dealer never pointed it out to me when I shared my calculations with him. Please confirm this is the case so that I may take it up with them and threaten to walk out when I go to pick up the car tomorrow morning. Thanks again.

Yes, the size of each MSD should be $400.
