How to ask a user direct

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum. How do I ask a question to a specific user?

Yeah, you can use the @ sign in front of their name. So, for example, "@norcalkid" should get them a notification that someone mentioned their name in a post. That's not foolproof however since members can turn off notifications in their profile.

So if you get ignored, try a PM and hope they are still visiting the site.

You can click on their name/avatar and go to their Profile page. Then send them a message with the Message box at the upper right of the profile page..

A big purpose of an online community is to share info so everyone can benefit, so please consider asking your questions in a discussion.

Thanks! I want to ask on the public board but I wanted to tag a specific user to make sure they saw it. Is that possible?
