Ask the dealer for the following information:

1. Net capitalized cost - after fees and taxes have been added
2. A full breakdown of how the $2000 up front is applied

If you live in Cook County, the taxes on a lease are usurious - somewhere in the neighborhood of 17%.

I recently leased a 2016 Audi A4 2.0 Quattro premium with Season of Audi package 18" inc Nav.
They offered 7k off the MSRP. I haven't leased before, so thought I was getting a great deal. But I left the dealership feeling that I had paid too much. Would be grateful for your opinion.

MSRP 42600
Price after discount 35600
MD taxes and tags: 3650
Audicare:820
Lease terms: 2500 down plus $525 per month for 36 months (incl taxes and Audicare)
The balloon payment at the end of the lease is 23900.

Id quite like to but the car at the end of the lease. My payments at that stage would be 16900
(not incl taxes). If I pay the balloon payment, I will end up spending almost 41k on payments alone. It now doesn't look that great a deal on a car that was advertised at 35600.

Disregarding the $1900+$500 upfront, I get $471/mo.+tax.

If any of that $2400 is going to CAP reduction, then subtract accordingly.

Looks like a pretty good deal for an Audi.

I would greatly appreciate if you could give me lease values for 2016 (not 2017) Audi A4 quattro (AWD) premium and premium plus trims. Money Factor, Residuals, incentives etc.
(months/miles) 24/12k, 24/15k, 36/12k and 36/15k. Also, is there any months in between the months I mentioned (like 27 or 33) that has a better residual or money factor ?
Zip code is 21090. There are couple of dealers near me who has limited stock and wants to get rid of it.

You'd have to get a massive discount from sticker to make the numbers work compared to a 2017.

Michaell, I just noticed that your figures were for 15k miles. Is there any difference in residual/Money Factor for 12k or 10k miles ? ie 24/12k and 24/10k vs 36/12k and 36/10k ?
Also, is there a change in residuals when Audi care (pre-paid maintenance) is added ?
